thnx all there are off ramps at every overpass but in that zoom with the NAM ramps they dont show up, and I like AK's style better than any thing else ive seen, so i try to play like that, i try not to "copy" exactly everything but his CJ is great inspiration 4.gif

    from the top:

crazychickensc12 again not that original but i like the layout of the skyscrapers

LP not my fav pic of urs its still ok tho lol to the comment. 7/10

MasterPlanMan wow ur great timing not sure about some bits of the pic but love the train coming from an over hang 9/10

ilikehotdogsalot not my kinda thing a bit ott maybe 6/10

ACEfanatic north of the river looks good, there are bits i like so i will give good rate 7/10

MasterPlanMan quite a well known picture so i rate lower for originality 6/10

LP wat are those building i love them, i love the corner steps reminds me of my old city of plymouth, bril 8/10 also i use a park 1x1 it gives me maximum desirability so sims will always want to move it, and normally my funds dont run out but when the do i have an internet hacking lot that gives me 1 000 000 in exchange for 25% mayor rating loss.

im sorry i cant find link,

st louis dude if u are on about the long image i wouldn't recommend doing this as it normally lowers my rate of them. purely becuase some people cant make them so big. i would always host 800x600 means i have to downsize everytime but i dont mind.

ilikehotdogsalot: Nice skyline, the darkness effect you have used adds to it, 8/10.

ACEfanatic: Good night shot, the border used is nice too, 8/10.

MasterPlanMan: Excellent freight yard, very realistic, 9/10.

LP: Impressive, more good use of the GLR and plenty of detail, 8/10.

aaronperry, they're SOMY's http://members3.jcom.home.ne.jp/somy000/p7.htm. Lovely little buildings. The set gives you two buildings, both of which you can see there. Depending on how you zone the lot they'll rotate like every other building, but these ones give you the sense of MANY different buildings than are actually there.

Thanks camaron, GLR really is fun to use.

LP ~ Nice medium residential area! 8.5/10.  As far as the streetlights you are right there were too many. I have since removed most of them.

aaronperry ~ The rail yard is the original lot that I designed and uploaded to the STEX.  I know  2000 or more people downloaded it but I have not seen very many pics of it.

Just too keep things rollong along here is another industrial night shot:

Hrm.. quite nice. Roundabout sticks out too much though, and those palm trees, eh... Might not be the right building to use.

Anyway, demand for industry and low-wealth housing was insane in my city. Heres a bit of what I gave them.

    Hatterson-Sep.jpg

*yawn* By the way, I'm thinking of starting up a CJ soon, just to show pictures like this and stop swamping this thread. 3.gif

I ain't posted on this page yet, so here I got. First of all, rates-

Masterplanman (1st)- Wonderful industrial feel, looks strangley futuristic. 9/10

Ilikehotdogsalot- Iv'e seen this one before I think. Wonderful city, but the smoggy photoshopping doesn't do it for me. 7/10

ACEfanatic- If it was me, I would have spent hours trying to put the ships reflections in the water... good to see you took the easy way out, because there is no point really, its a waste of time and effort. Anywho, nice port, good use of ships, makes it looks slightly busy even for a night shot. Could have maaaybe made it lighter and added more ships along the edge of the port, but meh... 8.5/10

Masterplanman (2nd)- Nice railyard, can't really see anything wrong with the pic apart from the boring Maxis sidewalk textures. 9/10

LP- Amazing stuff, everything fits in well and the GLR doesn't looks out of place. Love the low wealth BATS, i'm sure i have them but they never build in my cities. 9/10

Masterplanman (3rd)- Awesome drydocks, looks very fifties... apart from the lighting... whats up with those? There all blue and pink o.0... funky. 9.5/10

Waz_up_tiger- Nice shot, i've always wondered where to put that Borialis needle. Dunno about the golden trees though, if I want seasonal its either red. brown or orange. 8/10

LP- Ah, encouraging the dirty Industry, eh? You make me proud, heheh. Minus a point for the empty highway... I have the same problem unfortunatley and I can never get the traffic generating lots to work. And yeah, go ahead and make a CJ, i'm sure it'll be awesome.  8.5/10

Jeez... nice pics all round on this page.  I've been working on CJ pics, damn, I never knew this would be so damn hard.

Anywho, heres my pic for today... the world is my concrete container (those who work for Greenpeace, look away now)-

    nukleer.jpg

Sorry to those who don't like photoshopping... unfortunatley for you, I love it 3.gif

Oh, nice. Very European upper class. Looks like some small Italian city the tourists are yet to discover. 9.5/10

One question.... why are most the people on the pavement disabled? lol

    Waz_up_tiger- Sure, i'll do that.

Thorin- Very nice, but the blurryness spoils the picture 7.5/10

Ilikehotdogsalot- You have alot of traffic in that city! Very nice animation... pretty jittery though. Should try filming ingame with fraps and then converting it to a gif. in Adobe ImageReady or something. 10/10 for effort, 8.5 overall though 3.gif

    Waz_Up_Tiger: Nice, 7/10.

Yoman3: Very well themed scenery, 9/10.

Thorin: Picture 1: Interesting how you have emphasised the top of that tower, 8/10. Picture 2: Nice, that black building sticks out from the rest but that is realistic thinking of some cities I know, 8/10.

Quite nice. English mid-rise either needs to be tattered up or torn down though. It draws too much attention in a picture thats meant to be all taken in at once.

Anyway... human excrements are hitting the fan in my city, but I did find a nice little pocket to show.

    ... and photubucket is down...

*thinks* hrm... *will be back later*

EDIT: *sigh* only as a backup do I use this...

    EDIT: photobucket back

Thorin: 7/10 It gets points both for realism and lack of realism. The lightning is interesting, but is that really a possible night shot?

ilikehotdogsalot: 7/10 The animations gets an 8.5 though!

Thorin x2: 9/10 This is just beautiful. And just enough photoshopping for my taste.

marcszar: 10/10 Best slum picture I have ever seen.

LP: 8/10 Would have gotten a 9 but the ghost van takes it down a notch.

    ------

And here's my second try: the sun sets over the fishing village Semjaza (I remember somebody complaining about the lack of detail in my first pic so I added more this time... probably overdid it with the underwater flora though).

Hrm... yes, ghost van... *calls ghostbusters*

Anyway, I was looking at that picture as I took it and thought it needed... this...

    hattersonfebgt2.png

Had a friend fix the van, not too bad eh?

Also... I'm really fighting tooth-n-nail with my city at this point, and I'd like some constructive criticism on the pictures. Not entirely on the picture itself, but what was it within the picture that could have made it better. I'm shooting for a CJ worthy region here, and I'd really like to know whats getting me 7's and 8's on something I've worked so hard I feel an 11 should have been created by now. 3.gif
