What the names mean?

Usually I use Finnish names, like Ronja, Maria, Eliisa and Sofia are girl names and Aleksanteri and Tapio are boy names. Tapio is also old god from Finnish mytholgoy, god of forests. Kissala would mean "city of cats or Catville" if we translate it and Kali is an Indian god.

Kaupunki is city in Finnish and then I pick street names like Niittypolku is a street in city where I was born. Kallio means bedrock and is also district in Helsinki, Vasaralahti is Hammerbay and Korallisaari would be Coral Island. I like to take a thing and somekind geographical word like "saari" and form a names.

Rockport is the main city of Need for Speed Most Wanted
Rockdale is the name of the county below mine.
The Village is the name I chose from the movie, "The Village"
Northern Berlin is just the city name 'Berlin' with the word 'Northern' in it.
Abansadela was just made off the top of my head, so was Barsunvu.
Floresia was inspired by the kingdom, "Alegaesia" from the books Eragon and Eldest.
Athens North was just the city name "Athens" (from Greece) with the name 'North' slapped on after the name.


That's just a couple of my cities...funny how they were all inspired, right? Oh, and @ City Slicker on the first post in this topic, the city "Redrock Ridge" is in Need For Speed III: Hot Pursuit, right?
