Don't worry, lack of info adds more entertainment to the viewer... seriously. If you noticed, that's why Gabor called it a 'teaser'. Anyways, the region looks fantastic. Dude! That's a huge airport in the corner. Wow, that's a lot of ferry routes.

Can't wait for more info and pictures. lol.

Wow this is pretty nice! 44.gif

I would suggest in my humble opinion to limit the amount of abandoned black buildings in your cities. It kind of takes away from the desirability of your neighborhoods and such. Also some more flora like trees or plants could be put in your cities. You could make a city park for example! 4.gif

Excellent work though! I'll check out this journal more!

Great start.  The region looks great, very nice terrain.  Your cities also look great so far, you've got some nice layouts and a nice variety of buildings.

It does look like you're having a bit of trouble with black buildings, but there are a couple of ways to fix them.  I'm just trying to help, your region does look fantastic!

For the residential ones, they often abandon when they are high wealth, which can be fixed by boosting the high wealth taxes a bit to reduce the demand.  High wealth tends to overdevelop because it can override all the other wealth level development.

The other thing I noticed is there is an abandoned residential home in front of a roadtop mass transit tile (Picture above your label marking your uptown business district). There is an an unfortunate (and unfixable) flaw in the roadtop mass transit that prevents buildings from developing in front of it.

For the industrial ones (Such as on Drum Island) it looks like the HT industrial has cut off the manufacturing industries from the roads.  Best bet would be to demolish the black buildings and let the black tiles fill in.

Hope this help!  Looking forward to seeing more!

    I share that thought, too!

That's a massive region! I see highways and ferry routes going everywhere! Yes, abandonment definitely needs to be cut down, and you can make some great parks with things off the STEX. I look forward to more!

hey knightrider31688 u see those sparking poles in your sixth pic. well if u connect your poles to your bridge, the bridge becomes one long electric bridge and u can connect your electricity poles on each end to send electricity to an island

really nice recreation, the only thing is that charleston is not a "tall" city the tallest i saw when i went there was maybe 20 floors but other than that its great!!!

I'll guess I'll contribute to this, I grew up and was raised in beaufort/charleston, SC area and great work on the roads and transportation and the map!

I wish though that the buildings were realistic. There's actually a law in charleston that they can not be a building taller than the tallest church steeple in the city. SO Collgab is correct. Most buildings are 2-5 stories tall. The foundation that the city was built on is just not stable enough to build taller, plus its a historic zone, so no skyscrapers 4.gif

Oh and I love how you included Mt Pleasant. not many people remember about that place 4.gif
