As I am about to switch to a new type of subway station for upcoming installations I decided to highlight some of the already built stations in this part of the city.

This has become my new favorite pedestrian walk area - the center of the two big sections of West Yards, the final redevelopment area around the main railway station that I started on more than 2 years ago.

And starting to use new bus stations by @Raymond7cn, and they look beautiful at night...

And when I saw how the sidewalk just curved beautifully around and met the landscaping for the lot and the main boulevard sidewalk I could not resist making this little opening in the fence...

PS, You may want to give my simtropolis monument a try in your roundabouts.

It's midday in Woxdon, and the well-to-do sims from the city's townhouses descend on all the eateries along the Greyfriars Road.

You guys make my attempts look pretty feeble but I was happy with my little marina complex in East Bend especially when the ferry pops out and sails between the docked boats.  This is not the main city but a feeder city to it and only a fraction of it as well.

No I carved the marina out from the coast as I wanted boats to actually sail on it.

@Haljackey Would love to know what the hell the van in the second pic is doing. Hanging half-off a train overpass!?! I smell incoming patients for the local hospital.

Also, why is the orange car to its left levitating?

You caught it. There was a crash generated in underpass when I took the screenshot. Results is that carnage with the van hanging off the side

On my merry way, I noticed a strategically situated Sphinx in this shopping district:

Looks like it's not overly interested in fast food from the local takeaway, and instead wants rodent for lunch!

hey folks, 

 

not really a city-shot per se, as this is just a testbed with some roads with zoning/parking lots and a couple civic buildings, BUUUUUT....with 900 plugins (so far) and cori´s delightful no-kickout mod (among others)..this grew on its own. zero repetition. 

 

i....am...amazed. 

big thanks to all the batters and modders, SimCity 4 is the best and always will be!

HO HO HO! 'tis the season.....of relatives piling up at your place.

with my office turned into a makeshift guest room my pc is blocked. thus i'm left with my crappy old laptop and vanilla SC4 (+NAM, +matt's glorious terminus stations).

shown is the CBD and the main circular avenues (fancy flat tunneling  under the railcrossings supplied by CORI CORPS OF ENGINEERS - MODDING EXCELLENCE SQUAD), in the far corner you can spot the maxis highway which crosses through the entire region.
