To me, the most impressive thing is how well the Maxis sidewalks look there: balanced in their brightness with similar buildings and contrasting ground textures. The only thing I would change is the arrows on the OWR, but that's me being obsessive.

@T Wrecks It's also one of my favourite things about that scene, It would look even better with MGB's TGN unified grass textures, I'll post a new image when I can revisit that city again.

@matias93 Yeah, they're not my favorite either, but they're much better than the original arrows. I would also change the original stoplights on the avenue crossing, sadly, it doesn't seem like Mandelsoft's Stoplight Replacement mod will be updated to fit with new NAM features.

I've been unearthing old images from the primitive times when my cities were pure Maxis; back then I didn't play with custom resolution and hadn't tried hardware rendering mode. But here's a couple ones that I took in the midst of those pesky fires.

Nice and uncomfortably dangerous, I like it!

@Thin White Duke  That field hill behind the Wendy's looks great! Nice Work

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

Thanks! And very nice screenshots, @Thin White Duke! I have to ask, what is that building to the bottom-left in this picture?

A close up of a very ancient city, Cambodia's Angkor Wat. More Southeast Asian scenes available in my latest CJ update here.

One of my favorite city pics I made during 2016 (not shown yet in a show us thread) - New Year's Eve in Prague.

More scenes available from this update here.

Small town, somewhat-grungy intersection.

Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage
