Something that I think would be really useful for future versions: the ability to ZOOM OUT in the terraformer to view your region as a whole.

EDIT: OH WOW nevermind, you CAN zoom out, I feel dumb now 46.gif

It doesn't matter.  Unfortunately, getting these to run (especially on Vista) seems to be pretty futile.

I love that SC4T V1.1 works with Vista. Thank you so much. I have wanted this for months, but never checked for a newer version beyond v1.0. I actually posted something a few minutes ago about how I knew Vista was running V1.0 because I could see it indirectly with Aero, but then i thought 'wait i saw a v1.1 on the first page' and that made life happy, so I deleted the post : )

For some reason I can't get it to work. It says something else is useing directX, and to check the logfile. the logfile is empty.. help?

All I really want to do is make a big flat region with custom city tiles. Instead of it being randomized with a few large cities, then I want to manualy terraform it in game. I just want a big region

To be quite honest with you, you'll have a much better chance of getting an answer to your question if you post it in the SC4Terraformer forum at SC4Devotion.

Gary

i would like to know this as well. if you create a new region or edit an old one, you can see city borders but not change them. is there any way to change this (especially on new regions)?

this depends, are u using SC4T, or the old jpeg?

i do know how in jpeg form. there will be a config.bmp file with a map. change the color of the config.bmp to blue in a paint program like microsft paint. any color blue doesnt matter, as long as its a shade of blue, the game will recognize it.

the way it works is this:

blue: large city tiles

green: medium city tiles

red: small city tiles.quote>

ok nevermind, figured that out (although having custom regions with big, medium and small would be cool).

All you need to do is reinstall Direct x 9 It worked for me! :-)

This has got to be the hardest addon program to download ever in the history of man.

After a serious couple hours of GoogleFu, I came across That Last Link. It leads to a page with (obviously) no download link but also no link to a home or registration page and, like anyone else new to the scene, I haven't the slightest idea what "the 'LEX" is.

Would someone mind spelling out what that is, where it's homepage is and/or how to register?

It is the LotEXchange over at sc4devotion.com - you do not need to register for the forums, just the file exchange, it will be to seperate accounts if you register to both.

I have tried downloading SC4Trraformer from the website 4 times today and each time I got a network error that prevented me from downloading all the way. and incase you guys was thinking yes I am registered on that site so that is not a issue. Is there any other way to get the file? I can not try anymore today. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OS, could that be a problem?
