Sorry for breaking the double-posting rule... but the latest screenshot of the testing is simply... breath-taking!!! 4.gif On a closer look, I've just realised that blahdy used the original maxis road side walkway texture at the start of the slope, beside the arrows. Omigosh blahdy you are just so detailed in terms of making these lots! Thanks!

Although you said the LODing needs to be corrected in a few areas and re-rendered, it is already near perfect (like 99.99%) to me 44.gif I just can't keep my eyes off them!

Last minute snap change on curved off-ramp:

    bigd-t2a-ofr3.gmax3.jpg

Swamper77:  There is a file called bigd-t2a-ofr3.latest.rar in big dig distribution server you have access to.   Let me know if you have trouble getting that, but it should be all good to go for you.

Also, everyone: LAST MINUTE CALL FOR ANY Q&A + SUGGESTIONS ON CURVED ON-RAMPS.  Call closes tomorrow, and after that on-ramps will be frozen and shipped off to modding department.

I have a suggestion: Could you make an extended version, just like you did with the v1 off-ramp?

Sure, this is curved extended off-ramp (a work in progress) so far.

I noticed a lot of inexperienced CJers confusing on-ramp and off-ramps, where I've seen off-ramps being installed in place of an on-ramp (where cars are driving INTO an off-ramp, not OUT of it) and vice versa with Big Dig 1.0 lots.

Big Dig 2.0 contains several features to help prevent the confusion, such as pavement arrow markings showing directional flow of traffic.

The extended curved ramp in Big Dig 2.0 even has bi-directional LCS (lane control sign) in addition to pavement arrow markings, where red X is shown in direction toward the tunnel, and green down arrow is shown in direction out of the tunnel.  Hopefully with all these intelligent / smart-highway features implemented in the Big Dig 2.0 lots, people won't be so confused this time 4.gif

Picture of extended off-ramp being worked on so far:

    Just a suggestion:

When the overheight gantry sign flashes on the on-ramps, the green arrows could turn to red crosses.

BTW. Great job on the aroows, they look so great.

Why does one drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

Why is delivery by boat called a cargo and one by land called a shipment?

Thanks;  I assume you're talking about curved on-ramps with LCS devices.  The LCS signs would actually turn to yellow arrow, not red X.  An overheight violation does not necessarily shut down the ramp, only the violator must stop and wait for police dispatch to show up.

I've done somre refining of the LODs for the model and have basic transit-enabling in place. Pathing will be added later on.

    leverettramprender2ax6.jpg

This is a maximum quality JPG image of the transition with the blue gantries. Once I get approval from Blahdy that it looks okay, I will start doing the LODs for the version with the black gantries.

swamper:  Thanks!  Would you mind taking a day-time screenshot?  Some details are quite darkened during night view and hard to verify..
