PS: I just realized I should have posted this thread in the NAM section, sorry

Ciao.

Thanks for replying so quickly. How do you recommend I set the correct slope? And how should I do it, with ilive Reader? (sorry for my english)

Thanks, the value solved the problem with the highway tunnel, but unfortunately not with the normal roads. What can I do about the roads? Because if I remove them from the plugins, the game reloads the correct originals, but I don't like the originals very much, are there other tunnel portal mods?

Hmmm....

Ok, I'll try this way, it will almost certainly be a conflict between the slope mod, the tunnel portals mod, the road textures mod (the sent, the new European one) and maybe something inside the NAM..:???:maybe I have too many road mods

    Ciao @Vanz

I can definitely say that there are two mods you are using, but they are not running properly... You are using the NAM mod and the SENT mod, but the latter requires dependencies... This means that in addition to NAM and SENT, you need to download other mods. In your case, it seems that Rivit's Tunnel Mod is the problem...

You have downloaded SENT, but SENT only replaces the textures/visuals of other existing mods. To use the tunnel portals that you are using, you must first download this mod :

Once you have downloaded this mod, it will replace the Maxis tunnel heads with new Rivit ones.

This is where the SENT mod comes in... In your plugins folder, you need to have the NAM read first, then the mod for the new Rivit tunnel portals, and then the SENT. I strongly suggest you read this post to better understand how mods for road network textures work :

I hope these brief explanations help. If you want to use the Rivit mod, Tunnel Mod, but not SENT, then there's no problem: just download the Rivit mod, Tunnel Mod, and make sure it is read after NAM. That's all there is to it. You don't need SENT unless you want road textures that look more like European networks than those in NAM.

    Ciao@Vanz

Sorry one last question, on the MHO when I try to make the ramps they only come in one direction like in the image below, yet I press the button to rotate them but it doesn't let me rotate them on the highway, I also press the tab key to see if it gives me the right piece but it always gives me the pieces turned in the same direc1.jpg.c1c63a8318042c11fbed4e6991943e4b.jpg tion, surely I'm missing something

Try moving the ramp farther away from the single lane stretch (or shorten it). The ramps may not rotate if there isn't enough space between other routes.

You can then drag the connection.

    MHO Ramps.JPG

È quindi possibile trascinare la connessione.

Thanks, I've solved this too and I apologize if I'm filling you with questions but since I'm not an expert on NAM I'm asking you who know about it, anyway tell me if it's better to open another thread or if I can continue here, I hope at least that this thread can help others who are new with NAM:rofl: like me, I'm just asking you how to solve the bug in the image below hoping it's the last one:party:, I also installed the Mandelsoft mod for traffic lights and another mod for street lamps and I've already tried removing them both but nothing has changed, thank you in advance and thanks for all the help, this forum has one of the most beautiful communities I've ever seen:8)

No worries. If there's a time when things get a little lengthy or complex, we can split things off into a more effective forum.

Since it is near water, I'm assuming it is the end of a bridge. I' m familiar with a few instances where there might be a slight mismatch between the bridge and the roadway. I don't remember the exact cause (if I ever did... *;)), but it isn't the result of other mods. It just the way things 'fit' together. It might have to do with the network vs. the model of the bridge, but that's a guess. You might try a different network for a better fit if interested. The elevated MHO doesn't have near the same effect as the ground based level. Other than that, perhaps someone else will come along with better information...

Is that a bridge?, that's really the only explanation I can think of for why the roadway suddenly has a vertical gap.

The lights are wrong because the T21s used were likely created for the original and less wide Maxis Highway, which MHO is simply a visual override of. However, since MHO includes special T21s, I think what may have happened was that the bridge was built before MHO was installed. In such cases, the bridge model itself will automatically change, but to 'refresh' the T21s, you'd need to demolish and re-build the bridge.

I'm curious to know if doing so fixes either issue, note that it was me who added these MHO bridges, so unless a recent update elsewhere has broken things, I know for sure it was all working fine.

    Automated Notice Message

All posts after 1 March, 2026 @ 01:37 GMT were lost in the site crash.

We've added this message thread divider in every topic across all forums for what were then active threads. (We decided active is if the most recent extant post (from the backup) was on or after 1 January, 2026.)

This divider serves as notice that the conversation was interrupted. Answers and further discussion which used to be here have been lost. Keep this in mind when replying. Our hope is to rebuild what is missing.

I hope it's okay to ask here. I also have this issue. I built a street and the tunnel entrances are missing. I recently installed a slope mode but I can't remember what it's called.

Can someone help me? Should i install Rivit's tunnel modd?

    Thanks!

Are you aware that no Street Tunnel portals were included with the original game?, it appear Maxis intended to support Streets but never finished it.

As such, in order for this to work you need the NAM.DLL from here:

    Thank you!

Just to clarify: following that link takes me to a page where this change is stated:

    Changed

    • The previously included tunnel and slope mod files have been removed from the supplemental files. To use the Street tunnels, install a compatible slope mod instead, such as NAM Tunnel & Slope Mod.

Do I neet to install just the NAM Tunnel & slope mod linked there? Or should I install that NAM.DLL from your post or both?

    Thanks!!!
