My Games...see what you think

I have a lot of different games for different platforms. I wanted to rate them to you and see if you agreed.

First of all...the GBA games:

 

1. Pokemon Ruby (Yeah I no...Pokemon went out of fashion years ago but I still like the games!)

2. Pokemon Leaf Green (Ditto the above)

3. Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town (It's great, better than you would expect from a farming sim)

4. Dragonball Z: The Legacy of Goku (A big disappointment as I love the Anime)

 

Secondly, the PC games, the top 3 are so close it switches a lot of the time:

 

1. Simcity 4: Rush Hour (On top at the moment as I don't feel like playing No. 2 or 3 yet)

2. Impossible Creatures (Superb but would be even better if I could get Insect Invasion to work)

3. Anno 1503: The New World (Not found the EP yet but it's great without it)

4. Rollercoaster Tycoon 2: Wacky Worlds (Is great but can't compete with the top 3)

5. Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge (Red Alert 2 was great but Yuri's Revenge was a letdown)

6. Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 (Only because it doesn't seem to work with XP)

 

And Finally, the PS2 Games, BIG competition:

 

1. Dragonball Z Budokai 3 (This is Top Banana no doubt about it)

2. GTA: San Andreas (Very close between this and No. 3 but this has just better gameplay)

3. Sly 2: Band of Thieves (Superb and almost beats GTA, but lacks extremely minor things)

4. Spiderman 2 (I don't usually like superhero games, but this is the only exception. This ROCKS)

5. Dragonball Z Budokai 2 (Was good but isn't as good as some of my games)

6. GTA 3 (As many would probably agree, this is a bit better than Vice City after a while)

7. G1 Jockey 3 (Yep, horse racing, but it's surprisingly addictive!)

8. FIFA 2004 (It's ok but the AI is dodgy, and yet FIFA's AI is improved but the game is worse IMO)

9. GTA: Vice City (It's good but after a while it gets pretty boring and the 80's feel starts getting old)

10. Dragonball Z Budokai 1 (Worst of the Budokais, but I did learn some Japanese from it)

11. Tekken Tag Tournament (It's ok but the disc is scratched and it doesn't work anymore)

12. Gran Turismo 3 (It's getting a bit boring now and I do want to try GT4)

13. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (It's ok but stupidly hard without cheats in which you can't get 100%)

14. Robot Wars: Arenas of Destruction (Absolute tripe! Gonna try and swap it for Dog's Life, which would be No. 5 if I had it)

 

So there it is. Please comment if you have any views.

Compy: Simcity 4 w/ x-pack, Need For Speed: High Stakes, Simcity 3000 Unlimited, Simcity 2000, Zoombinis, and a bunch of other meaningless stuff, including like 20 poker and blackjack games.

As soon as my very...er...unorthodox injury (you don't wanna know) has healed, I will probably get Zoo Tycoon 2 as I tried the demo andd thought it was a HUGE improvement from the first. I will add my list to this, however understand that I am ONLY a PC Gamer - I really cant stand consoles and their plethora of sports, driving, license and lame a$$ FPS games (except for Halo & Halo 2 on the Xbox - which I am pretty good at);

1. SC4 - you all know why this is here!
2. HaloCE - the way Halo was MEANT to be played;
3. BF Vietnam - come on I wanna play the films I watch;
4. Desert Combat - Top mod for BF1942 - keep me happy till BF2;
5. Joint Operations - Helo's are what makes this lush!
6. Sims2 - way better than the first - and alot more grown up;
7. Neverwinter - sheer beauty - an amazing RPG;
8. Doom3 - chilling - although not as good as the first in the originality stakes;
9. Vegas Make it Big - I wanna run casino's;
10. Deus Ex - WOW - great story, amazing replayability;
11. Planetside - war on a huge scale - who needs TV!
12. Rome TW - the definitve PC war game;
13. RCT3 - graphics are stunning;
14. Morrowind - beautiful and almost as modable as...
15. UT2004 - what can i say, this game is brilliant online.
16. Half Life / Half Life 2 - again you shouldnt have to ask why I play these...

Because everyone else is posting their list i will pot mine but first I must say that I am so glad to see somebody here likes Pokemon (and that they don't care that it's not 'cool' anymore).

My GBA games:

1. Pokemon Leafgreen. I never get tired of it, asnd it has some of the best graphics I've ever seen for GBA.

2. Sonic Advance 3. The best of the Sonic Advance series, and it has fabulos music.

3. Pokemon Sapphire. I have gotten the farthest on this game, and it's fun to be able to beat the heck out of everyone once in a while.

4. MegaMan Battle Network. My cousin got me into Megaman, and I've been hooked since.

5. Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets GBA. This one's kind of bad, but I still play it to cool down after a hard day of SC4.

I have more, but I don't play them and the aren't very good.

 

My GB and GBC games:

1. Pokemon Gold. I recently restarted this one and am doing it again from scratch.

2. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Hardly ever play this now but it was fun once.

3. Pokemon Red. Mostly I just keep it to exploit the many glitches in the game.

1. Simcity 4 Deluxe Edition. Of course this is my favorite of all the games mentioned here.

hey veggie, interesting list you've got there, and about the pokemon games, even though they're out of fashion, they're still good games, i'm even tempted to play them again! anyway, here's my list (in no prefered order):

For the Crash Bandicoot thing, the mini games one is probably Crash Bash, which I thought was really fun! I think i forgot to mention my PS1 games so in no particular order:

Monsters Inc: Not great and certainly not what I thought it would be.

Gran Turismo 1: Ah...Where it all started! My first racing game! Number 2 wasn't as good IMO.

Destruction Derby 2: W00t! Smashing things up and racing at the same time!! W00t!

Grand Theft Auto: Ah...where my obsession for the GTA games all started!

Grand Theft Auto London: A severe disappointment. Nothing new here except different scenery and a cockney accent.

Grand Theft Auto 2: Now this was better! Much! My fav mission still in the 2nd level when you break out of jail!

Spyro 1: Second best of the Spyro games! Great storyline! Replayability value!

Spyro 2: Actually my sisters but hey. Best of all 4 Spyro's that I have played. (Not played the 5th)

Spyro 3: Worst out of the PS1 range only because the storyline wasn't as good as the others. (4th one completely rubbish)

Championship Bass: So I like fishing! It's a hobby! Shame you're only allowed to catch bass on this.

Theme Park: This was great but mine doesn't work properly now

Theme Park World: Oh well...I still have this to fall back on. I love creating theme parks!

Actua Soccer 2: The first game that I played on my PS1. The first game I ever played was V-Rally. This is a good soccer game...at least for a while

V-Rally 2: Much better than Number 1! So much better graphics! A good game.

Lego Racers: Not a good racing game. Very boring after a while.

Lego Island 2: The most boring, pointless and easy game ever invented! HATE!!! HATE!!!

Worms 1: The classic beating up and killing others worms game! A legend in it's own right! Fantastic...and the sequels are so much better!

The FA Premier League Football Manager 2000: Boring. Hard. Dodgy training system. Instead of the players getting better, they get worse! Stupid really.

Crash Bandicoot 3: Have played the others but I only own this one. This is like one of the best platformers for the PS1 IMO! Terrific!

Crash Team Racing: A great game as well! A successful attempt in making a terrific platformer into a racing game! Great!

Speed Freaks: Another great racing game! Similar to CTR but with different characters. Still great though, yet I never was able to unlock Beemer...

Who Wants to be a Millionaire: Terrible...it's extremely hard to get to 1Million like in the UK TV show. But there is no reward for actually getting to it. Pointless to even pick the disc up...

Toy Story 2: I actually sort of like this still! A childish, yet challanging platformer. There are better games, but you can do much worse!

My games that I like go as follows...

 

GBC (Gamecube)

 

1) F-Zero GX = It fast and fun and I think its awesome.

 

2) Custom Robo = I like building the robots and battling them againest other players. Its fun and I have unlocked alot of stuff.

 

3) Mario Kart Double Dash = Its fun using the items on other players. I have unlocked Toad and Toadette as well as as the Special course.  Even though I never could take advantage of it, I think that this game is a good game to play with 8 players. (By LAN from another gamecube and another TV).

 

4) Wario Ware INC: Mega Party Game$ = I like playing the minigames and its a game you have to pay attention. I liked it best when I played with others.

 

5) Super Smash Brothers Melee=  And last but not least in this category I can't forget this game.  Its a very cool game and its very funny game.  I really enjoyed this game and when a version of Super Smash Brothers comes out on the Revolution, I am going to get it.  (If it gets a good raiting, but its a long ways yet to the revolution come out plus the games that are coming out with it).

 

PC

 

1) Simcity 4 series = Afterall  this series is cool.  I liked building the cities and riding around in them.

 

2) Rollercoaster Tycoon 3  series = This series is cool as well.  I liked building my rides and riding them.  The Peep Family creator is another good feature. The best thing though was the Sandbox mode.

 

3) Rollercoaster Tycoon 2  series = I also liked this game, this game was good, that I buyed Rollercoaster Tycoon 3.  I like how you can press SHIFT and move objects (certian ones) Up and Down.

 

4) Sharpshooters Minigolf** = I liked this game, you can build your own minigolf holes and courses.  I also liked how you could use MIDI files* for backgrounds for each hole.

 

5) Minigolf Pro** = I liked how you can make your own holes and also the online play, but no course editor and if you have no Spyware protection or Virus protection then you could have spyware issuses.

Thats the Tilde key... its near 1 (!) on your keyboard. Or, if you live in the UK, its the same key as #.

Not much of a hardcore PC player.

Sims 2 (+ expansions) - one of the best games ever. Unlimited gameplay, you cannot beat it.

SimCity 4 Deluxe

City Life - stunning graphics but the city-building element is a bit blurred.
