My theory for the empty stadium is that they've all turned invisible Sorry Ive missed your previous update, but not this one Both were excellent and you are indeed correct that those apartments grew in perfectly. An excellent location and choice for the College also. Now I wonder will this new area around the stadium be developed to capacity or will it be low density outside the city? Both possibilities could provide a very interesting area, perhaps a mix even?

football_fever ... Thanks for the great comment and for the ideas... I'm glad you all remember the newspapers ... that last one was almost 1 whole year since I started doing them.. wow .. I've been doing this too long...lol. Appreciate the sporting comments too... good idea for another newspaper.

Thanks for the comments though, and I hope you like the following pictures which I took just for you.

You really did show me Asian there, did you! . I do apologise, I should have been more specific, it were the trees I were referring to. The latest update was very realistic, you used the Asian set in, in conjunction with other custom content, in manner that was not gritty. That's pretty hard to do, to have it come out like that. Looking at those pictures, my mind stangely shifts to street view, as if were real- a wonderful thing. You never cease to impress me, Fox!

Pip is right Fox, it looks like a real asian city.  It has that overwhelming array of nightlights stereotypical of asian downtowns and the choice of BATs is exquisite.  You construct your city-scapes very realistically and very beautifully!

suplado! ... Thanks for the great comments, I appreicate your constant support here for my cj. As for those lights, not a bug just a delayed reaction when turning from cyclic day/night mode to day only mode ... takes a few moments for lights to turn off. Congrats on your Trixie win.

Simfan34 ... Well I'm very glad you approve of the style shown, I've tried to do my best to incorporate the Asian style in to a predominantly westeren style city. Glad you liked it even with non Asian trees .. lol.

tankmank ... Your attention and constant comments have been a great sorce of inspiration my friend over the last year or so, and I greatly appreciate that. I've recently been working in the LE again, and hope that next year I might be able to show some of that off.

I've decided to only do a small update this time ... So to get straight into it .. here is San Mar Ker Gates, a World War Two Memorial to those that died during the war while SMI was occupied by Japanese forces. The gates are what is left of the original Royal Palace that was razed by the Japanse as they withdrew at the end of the war.

Looking towards next year, I hope to bring you more images from the ever expanding SMI journal and Alicante City areas ...

Ah ha! I didn't miss this update, though I did miss the one before it, apologies for that, though it was worse for me since my viewing of its excellency was just delayed. It is pretty amazing what you did in the previous one. I see small European buildings that look completely out of place when you isolate them flowing perfectly with the very contrasting (color wise) Hong Kong style neighborhood. Very impressive. I particularly enjoyed the vibrant colors shown throughout the update. Congrats on 1000 posts also, I made mine awhile back in this very thread.

Now onto the current update. A very fitting memorial to those who lost their lives, I like the fact that it isn't in the middle of the city but in the wilderness. It adds some privacy to those reflecting on lost ones. The airport is looking excellent (watch that taxiway layout though ) I noticed that you've taken to the LE and added a very nice small entrance with some arches, it adds your own flavor to what in my opinion is an overused airport pack (well what do you expect, it is the best). You've made the airport grounds your own as well. Excellent work on the good looking parking. King Banshee Station looks very interesting also, I'll be interested to see the surroundings.

You seem to never stop with amazing updates- even if they are short. The San Mar Ker Gates is the kind of thing that would be an actual war memorial in RL. And they're well lit at night, I see! Now, the airport- although it's the one everyone else uses, it just reeks awsomeness! The roundabout in the front looks great (the transit station goes well, though I pity the people who need to cross the street.

And I love the parking lot, (!) probably the best I've ever seen! The plaza in the fifth picture makes it look great. Now, I'm just dying to know what BAT the King Banshee station is. And I like the region shot- but what is that big round thing near the top of the map? Something Dubai-esque, perhaps?

OMG ... It's been sooo long since I last posted here!

I just got to say sorry to all those I never got around to replying too, but thanks for those comments and I promise to be back soon to refresh my memory of them.

As for myself, I've been very busy with real life and haven't really had time to upload anything, although I've been playing SC4 occasionally and have been working on something new that Slann has seen and knows of ... I hope I can share it with everyone soon.
