Ahh, a very nice update.

Nice building that SCJU Secretariat it green sticks out from the surrounding greys and browns.

Why did that Alicante city hall builing change colours while zooming or did that had to do with dilapidation?

Woah lovely mosaics you have over here 36.gifI simply like the way your downtown area's layout. Neat, clean and yet creative! And the downtown is also dotted with a lot of open spaces... just like in real life where metropolis are not only concrete forests. 9.gif

Keep it up! 44.gif

Hey Fox. That plaza still looks awesome, it really is a very nice touch.

You know, visiting SCJU journals has never been an issue for me and there is no MoS rule that prohibits that 4.gif. I appreciate the work you all are putting into this and as a reader I very much enjoy the interactivity between the City Journals. See, I don't know exactly how this whole rivalry has started and honestly, I don't wanna know. I just think that some people forget from time to time that this is just a game... I think that RL is complicated enough though 4.gif.

Take care.

owenluby ... Indeed ... My statistics are mostly based on Hong Kongs from the World Fact Book ... in the July 2006 estimate for the population ... 6,940,432 to be exact... The ecomomy of St Marque Inlet is more or less comercial, followed by manufacturing and export/re-export. Thanks for the comments too.

jacqulina ... I understand completely ... I love the way I do my Cities, hence why I share them with everyone here in my CJ ... I'm proud of them. Some people just have no imagination though ... pitty for them I guess ... But I will always be here showing my work off... Thanks.

Nik-nik ... Thanks for the comment ... Once again you leave me confused ... You have a facination with stating my buildings are in the process of dilapidation ... Lets get this straight once and for all ... Never, never will I post a picture of a dilapitated building in my CJ ... they are ugly and besides... Also I have not seen a dilapidated building in my Cities since I accidently destroyed the water pump in one of them and caused a City wide problem ... Apart from that , there will never be one shown inmy pictures... Please look at the pictures again, they are exactly the same colour, both in the construction phase, and the two other pictures ... Perhaps you are looking at the wrong pictures... the names are clearly written on the bottoms of each picture, so you can't get confused, I hope ... If you have any further comments, please pm them to me, as you obviously either have trouble seeing the pictures properly, or are keen to see my nice Cities as dead husks or something ... either way, I'm dissapointed with your comments always being negative here.

terrymunweihao ... Thanks for the comments... yes the open spaces are a huge part of my Cities ... I love to add greenery where ever I can. Parks dotted everywhere aroun development too helps to boost the value of the area as well ... helping to get lots of nice R$$$ apartments and office towers... The open forest areas also look great from the Region view as well.

Leech10 ... Lol... I knew that would be your comment ... you are very predictable here my friend, but thanks for the support and the comments.

gonza122 ... Thanks for the comments ... Alicante is also a Spannish City ... which is where I got the name from originally. I was tempted to do a Spanish City and follow the rest into the

Mediterranean area ... but thought this "Western Hong Kong" would be a much better attraction, and I can make great use of the Hong Kong bats that I love...

Yoman3 ... Thanks for the comment.

sorchin ... Once again thanks for the coments.. I appreciate them. As for the park opposite... that is one of the first parts of this tile that I did ... and I basically built the City around it... hehe. It's certainly very inspiring to look out the window of the SCJU Secretariat towards the parks and plazas that are around the main building. It's even more beautiful when it is in autumn and the colour of all those trees turn orange, yellow and red ...

Gab2k614 ... First post in my CJ ... yay for me. As for your question .. I'm a little confused, everything in my port is downloaded bats, as I have mods to stop the maxis stuff developing .... can you perhaps be a little more specific with what exactly you are wanting to know, or perhaps pm me with more detailed questions... I'd be happy to answer them ... thanks.

PhilsCafe ... Thanks, glad you like it. It is a troubled past this relationship between the two groups, alas since Kumba was banned from the site for his constant bad behaviour, the interatction between the two groups has been limited, as Kumba issued a pull out of the representative from the MoS to the SCJU ... Still... we are in full swing, and talks have even been started about our interaction with the other members of the MoS ... you are more than welcome to come over and participate in the discussions if you like, or add your opinions.

I would also like to enquire about an exchange Embassies between our Nations and parhaps a meeting to initate a trade relationship for the future properity of both our Nations ... let me know.

Thanks everyone for all the great comments so far ... more updates are comming your way soon ... For now .. here are some Regional pictures too keep people happy ... quite a lot has changed since the last time I showed the Regional view....

Great pictures Fox, looks like your region takes shape. I like it a lot, particularly the green spaces you left on the outskirts. I'm looking forward to your next update.

As for the interaction between our regions, that would be cool. Acorn Creek is part of the United States though, direct international relations are therefore rather unrealistic 4.gif, but it would be nice to have some kind of exchange anyway, like cultural, educational or social exchange programs or town twinning.

As far as Pakkusena is concerned, I could certainly encourage a discussion about  an embassy exchange at the Oligarchy (the governing body of our multi-player region) if you  like,  Nova Helvetia is responsible for Pakkusena's international relations after all 3.gif.

owenluby ... Thanks again for the coment ... no problems ... the information is there on Wiki .. everyone can see it for themselves.

threeswept ... Welcome back and thanks for the comment ... I'm glad you approve of the updates so far.

Gab2k614 ... Ok ... nps ... I hope you checked back, cause all the info was listed there, all my lots were used, and they fit in to the PEG style original wharf lots.

tommiej ... Thanks, the green areas look messy from the City view, but Regional view they look beautiful. It's easy to hide rail and highway in them too.

PhilsCafe ... Thanks .. glad you like the green belts .. they are a tribute to my own  home in Adelaide, where it is surrounded by parks and gardens. Your idea sounds like a great one, I love the town tinning, or Sister Cities as we call them here... I think I'll be in touch in the future once I get some more areas going of my Nation to have some connection with you ... as for Nova Helvetia ... Perhaps a clearer map of your Region would be of great help as the current map conflicts with previous information provided by Kumba and the location of two other SCJU Members... your help would be greatly appreciated here ... While I still have Acorn Creek on my mind ... I think I have decided on a place for the Royal Alicante Hotel site, sorry I forgot about this plan ... I'll send the documents over as soon as they are finalised.

Everyone else .. thanks for all the great comments so far...

owenluby ... Thanks for another comment... I'm really glad you posted again, highlighting my huge use of Wiki for most of my Nations Information ... Thanks to you for not making me look like I am double posting here too ... hehe.

Here is todays front page News from the Marque Daily News Paper...

    wikisminewspaper037aiq9.jpg

    wikisminewspaper037bpb4.jpg

    marquenewscorplogoom5.jpg

All the past newspapers can be found on wiki at the Marque Newscorp page. The page is still underconstruction, but all the past newspapers are already up and ready for viewing ... by the way ... Marque Newscorp is Officially over 12months old now ... The first newspapers first came out 16th of October 2005 ... what a huge effort to all those involved...

Thanks and enjoy everyone ... a new update is planned for this weekend hopefully ...

Great region view (sorry missed that one).

Dilapidation. Sorry for the confusion. It seems that  I am looking at my laptop PC while at home I do get a different picture that shows the pictures in their true colour. Crazy things those lap top LCD screens. I did not want to sound negative. Your CJ and the work you put into it are far too good to be nagative about.

That Newspaper is awsome again. That pic of Europe at night. I have seen it once before, but it is amazing the degree of light we produce.

I agree with president Vicente Fox, that wall is a shame for a civilised country.

    Have a great weekend,

    Nik-Nik

    Hey Fox,

nice to see some more pictures in Alicante City and wow, very exquisite lots. I've been doing a whole lot of LEing lately as usual and have been perfecting my cities with them and maybe I can show you some of my own beautiful lots. I see you enjoy putting lots of the BSC props on 1x1 lots to make larger plazas (one of my favourite things to do as well, buddy). 3.gif

jacqulina ... Thanks for the comments... yes, my Region is growing at a dramacit rate... nearly at 1million citizens for this one City alone ... not to mention the many other Cities I want to start nearby ... or the suburbs of Alicante City ... it's going to be so huge and spread out, it will be a monster. Thanks for the nice comments about the newspaper too.

crazychickensc12 ... Thanks .. I try to get the transport layout as good looking from the air as i can ... I love just sitting and looking at the highways flowing around the Region. Thanks for the comments about the newspaper too.

Nik-nik ... Thanks, no problems, glad you got to check the Region view.

owenluby ... Thanks for the constant support. I appreciate your opinions, comments and general support... I hope to see you more active at the SCJU though, as there is a vote to allow better use of the Ambassador position there, I'm sorry you missed the 5day debate stage, I would have loved to have seen your opinions on that.

DragonAnime ... What a great pleasure to see you posting here.. I'm honored once gain to have your comments grace the pages of my CJ. I look forward to seeing your lots, I'm sure they'll inspire me to go and make more myself, not that I need any more. I look forward to seeing some more bats you create too.

Thanks for all the comments guys... I promise... there is an update coming soon... 36.gif

Waz_Up_Tiger ... As much as I appreciate the thought of your comment, I'm not actually Asian. I'm a 2nd generation Aussie/British Citizen with a mix of Polish heritage. Only my Cj is located in the Asian Region... but again, thanks for the vote of confinence.
