About This File

A brand new steel mill, the name comes from the real Bethlehem Steel Co. (whose assets were bought out by International Steel Group Inc. recently) The office is/was located inBethlehem, Pennsylvania, as was a steel manufacturing facility until 1995, due to the low demand of heavy structural grade steel. The old plant has been sold and renamed the 163-acre site "Bethlehem Works" and will use the land for cultural, recreational, educational, entertainment and retail development - including the National Museum of Industrial History, in association with the Smithsonian Institution, and the Bethlehem Commerce Center, consisting of 1,600 acres of prime industrial property.

UPDATE 1- Replaced some textures for a more realistic look. Works with Rush Hour, has not been tested without the expansion.

That's really cool. I live in Northampton wich is 20 min. north of Bethlehem and I think it's cool that there's a building from my area on here! Great Job!

it was a furnance or an oil burner, something like that so I guess it would be the number of jobs created by one of those lots.

Wow, I know that building, that's really accurate, you just need a cupple of them in a row to really put a different spin on any area of town. But Bethlehem is really starting to be a nice town nowadays.

I live in Bethlehem and thats a very well done re-creation of the real thing. You'd just need a few in a row to create the massive are that the actual plnat used to take up.
