is this really accurate scale???? where new york and other cities will be the right size and not a couple tiles big????? ( plz tell me it is, though will take a powerfull machine to run it and hours to go from one end to the other.)

G'day. i have tried to do this myself but every time I do the ctrl+shift+alt+r it tells me that the jpg is the wrong size and should be 1025x1025 or something, it does this with pretty much every map I try to use. How do I fix this?
