Actually seeing how some of the things on the STEX are made, I believe it may be possible to make roads/highways/railroads/etc. go under a bridge section. I see that it is possible to create a, for example, 1x1 lot. The buildings will have to be limited to the edges of the lot, but it seems props aren't, they can extend over the edge and overlap with whatever is over that edge. This can be used to create a 1x1 lot which looks like a regular road/rail/highway/etc. section. Transit enabled and connects to the regular network of that type. But off the edge of that lot will extend a prop of the road or rail surface for 1 or 2 tiles (since maximum width of a bridge is 2 tiles). now you drag a regular road to one side of the bridge, place the lot so the road prop continues under the bridge and continue the normal road on the other side. Now would it be possible to actually make that extended prop to be transit enabled so that traffic can continue along it to the other side of the bridge? Something to perhaps ponder about for whoever may be interested in making this.

i was thinking this can be done by perhaps getting in the game's data and changing the size of what a large city tile is supposed to be, and making it bigger, then you just use one of the region maker tools to create a region that consists of just that tile. or perhaps smaller tiles, bigger than the originals, but smaller than let's say a whole region, that way a region is still split up and manageable for the PC but there are less tiles to keep track of. Maxis really should rethink the whole region thing in the next sim city.

Hi guys, I've been out of this forum for a while, but I'm back with a question. Is there any way to get bigger city tiles in a region? Bigger than the small medium and large. Because the whole juggling between cities gets really annoying if you have a large city that spans several tiles. Having to set up all those neighbor deals for power and whatnot and the separate budgets. So is there a mod or some way that allows you to have just one huge city tile? So you don't have to switch around. And it would make terraforming easier. Thanks in advance for any help.

haha, im glad i bought the game before the AO rating i really don't see the big deal about violence in the GTA series. there are lots of games with violence, and just about all of them are better at depicting it ( half life 2(gravgun+saw=chopping fun) Aliens vs. Predator 2, UT 2004 ( you can dismember ppl in that game)Diablo 1/2 (ppl impaled on stakes and torture devices, guts all over the floors, walls etc.[:0]))and nobody seems to have much of a problem with them. and killing police isn't really all that special either. you can do that in mafia, and in postal 1/2 (im pretty sure), in BF2 u gun down US soldiers, among other country's soldiers. -
