could you make of map of kansas city please

where did you find the basis to make this? I've been searching for a DEM for Calgary and all I've been able to find are online topo maps.

www.geobase.ca I suspect.

www.geobase.ca shows the Calgary area as being "in production" for DEMs.

Well, after I've found out the latitude and longitude of the city I went here: http://edcftp.cr.usgs.gov/pub/data/srtm/North_America_3arcsec/3arcsec/ and got all the DEM's.

there are different quality levels, I believe. The more detailed ones are still in production, while the less detailed dems should be ready. I could be wrong though. gl

This is an awesome map! I am glad there is an accurate, to scale map of Calgary (well, most of the city).

This is a great map, but there is whales in the Bow river!

Well, until Maxis provides surface water capability (next version maybe?) there is no fix for that.
