About This File

This is my rendition of the Frank Gehry-designed band-shell in Chicago's new Millennium Park. It is NOT intended to be an accurate representation, rather, it is MY interpretation of the space. Many liberties had to be taken to remove the structure from its natural context (in a park) and configure it for a stand-alone design. So, if your comments are something along the line of "it doesn't look like the original" or "you forgot this," please save them for yourself.

The plop-cost is $250,000 and she sits on a 13x6 block (to accomodate 6x6 planners). Enjoy!

Cool, I've never seen this before in real life but it looks like a cool addition to any city!

Very Nice! This'll look good with the Wrigley Peristyle park recently uploaded. If more are mad we might be able to make our own Millenium Park.

Nicely done. But in my oppinion, Gehry's designs are getting a bit boring and repetitive. But nice sc4 render

Didn't you read what i said, i said it was nicely done, but thats just a personal oppinion that i don't like gehry's designs so much. But geoff_diamonds redering of it is really nice. You should read before judging people

-.- I do think this is nice, i didn't rate it a 2 or anything, it got a solid 8, i think those cables are a little thick, but i really dont know what the real thing looks like. so i can't give it what YOU want axelvan.

I very much like the sense of depth that the trellis (sp?) gives, and some nice colour as well. ^_- Great job, I can see it in my city. =D

this is a 100% awesome rendition... very good use of space and depth, very realistic and talented job... that said, i agree with axelvan, the *REAL LIFE* archetect is repetitive in his unique yet somewhat annoying style.

Props to geoff_diamond though, awesome rendering and AMAZING attention to detail... and for the record, i'm being critical, but that doesn't mean i don't have respect. Critics don't often make movies, but they like them.
