About This File

Buffalo City Hall is a massive Art Deco skyscraper situated on the west side of Niagara Square in Buffalo, NY. The building is Buffalo's 2nd tallest, after only the HSBC Center, at 398 ft (115 m). It is among the largest City Halls in the world, and it was designed with future expansion in mind! Everything about this building is enmeshed with symbolism from mankind's and Buffalo's history, from the large portico columns representing tightly bundled reeds such as those found on ancient Egyptian temples, to the littany of Native American symbolism (Iroquois tribes in particular), to the statues of two Buffalo-born US presidents (however mediocre they may have been!), Millard Fillmore and Grover Cleveland. The building took 2 years to construct, completed in November of 1931, and

This is absolutely first rate work, which is no surprise coming from the Buffalo team. I wish there was a community of BATers doing the same for Philadelphia; alas, I lack the talent to start such a project myself.

You get the wrapped box because you haven't correctly installed all of the necessary files per the readme directions! Make sure you've installed the BCH.dat file into your plugins directory.

thanks for the tip! If your considering doing more buffalo landmarks you should do Central Terminal, its always been one of my favorite places! Or maybe even the Rath or Liberty Buildings. Keep us updated!

Check out the Operation Buffalo Wing thread in the forums. Jsieczka is working on Central Terminal, and I'm currently working on the Liberty Bldg. Rand Bldg is also one of my future projects.

I downloaded buffalo city hall, which i must say looks just as good in person, but the night lights don't work? for that matter none of the night lights work for any of my buffalo buildings?

First, make sure you've downloaded the latest update from the official site, and make sure the building is powered. You may also need to manually cycle between day and night a few times to "kick start" the lighting, this is a common issue.

I was very impressed with the architecture of this building when I visited Buffalo in the early '90s. Thanks for creating it, and you did a great job!

Awesome! You should also do Ralph WIlson Stadium and Seneca Niagara Casino, Buffalo Library, maybe Shea's or a Main Street Plobbable. Just some ideas

A "world-recognized" building Marc? "New York-recognized" is more accurate. But after looking it up on the web for comparison's sake, I must say you've done an A-1 job with this sarge! Wonderful detail... you've done it a lot of justice.
