One more release for the day, this time it's Hangzhou-Huzhou, China (中国, 杭州-湖州) (for SimCity 4). Located in Zhejiang province, Hangzhou is home to 12 million people and Huzhou is home to 3.4 million people. Hangzhou is the headquarters city for numerous major tech companies including Alibaba Group, Ant Group and NetEase, as well as many reputable universities. It is also home to West Lake (西湖), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is consistently rated as one of the best cities to live in China. It served as the host city of the 2022 Asian Games.
Huzhou is located at the center of the Pearl River Delta, just south of Lake Tai (China's third largest freshwater lake). Also included in the map are the cities of Jiaxing (嘉兴) and Shaoxing (绍兴), the latter of which is known for producing Shaoxing wine (绍兴酒) made of fermented glutinous rice, water and wheat-based yeast.
The map is 24 x 28 large city tiles and is accurately scaled based on DEM data.
In order to install the map you will need wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer as the file is in SC4M format.
