About This File

I've been a member of SimCity community since December of 2008 and I've seen many incredible and obscure stuff on the Internet. One of them, and one of my very first downloads, was the Quandrahedron Matrix, originally made by @2ch.net simplayer. It's a set of futuristic buildings with bridges that can be build in a way to make a network of those buildings, a "matrix" if you prefer, allowing you to have a futuristic urban environment with cities above your cities. The original set has 3 levels of them and provides plenty of jobs for your Sims, making them both useful and awesome looking.

Unfortunately, the original version also suffers from the plop-without-a-building bug. Here is what happened. You build your city, when suddenly you hear the sound of something being plopped. But not by you! You start looking at your city to see that happened and you find an empty grow-able lot. You check the lot and it's the landmark itself. Somehow, the landmark started to "grow" in your city by itself, but the landmark itself never appears and you only get empty lots that messes with your skyline and ruin your city. Never hear that? New for you? If yes I envy you, because it used to be a more common bug back then. And because of this bug, I just can't use the the original version.

Fortunately, @Zelgadis made an alternative version of the Quandrahedron Matrix (link below) that fixes the problem by removing the jobs altogether. This might makes the buildings less practical, but it fixes the problem and makes them more flexible, so you can build them anytime and anywhere you wish, even in the middle of the wilderness if you want. A city above nature. Zelgadis' version comes with 4 lots: standalone, dead end with 1 bridge, 2 bridges as corner and 2 bridges in a straight line. While more stable and highly recommended, I soon realized that something is missing here. Intersections. For some reason, Zelgadis didn't included T and + intersections. So I decided to fix this problem by creating them.

This set adds the two missing intersections. By mixing Zelgadis' parts and my parts, you can finally build epic networks of cities above your cities or above mother nature, or both. To connect the bridges, make sure there is a 52 tiles gap between the buildings. Do some experiments, make the right combinations, use some extra stuff if you wish, and you'll have awesome cities of tomorrow in no time. Sure this is anything but realistic, but look how much I care about realism.

I don't care *:P

Here is how to install it:

1) If you don't have it, get the Zelgadis' Quandrahedron Matrix add-on first. Download it, unzip it and place it at your plugins folder. Without it, my two lots will be useless.

2) Download my intersections lots. For convenience, I recommend you to place them at the quardalvl1 Folder folder.

3) Zelgadis used a texture from PEG MTP SUPER PACK from @Pegasus for his lots. Since my intersections are an expansion of his work, I used the same texture too. If you don't have already this dependency, get it now.

4) Open the game and have fun! :D

Big thanks to both 2ch.net and Zelgadis for their work *:)

Never played futuristic SC4, and I'm not planning to do that. But this is pretty cool! :) Thanks for sharing them!
