About This File

NEW in v2.0! Date-activated Combined Standard/Holiday lighting scheme added to the Landmark Lots! Fixed problem with building not appearing in game until a trigger date passed (thanks to Smoncrie). Discontinued the individual "Standard" and "Holiday" lighting configurations. See README file for details/limitations.

Your SC4 Utility Company finally has a headquarters building!

The Niagara Mohawk Building (originally Buffalo General Electric Tower) in real life is a 14 story, 294 ft (90 m) tall office building, and currently the Western New York headquarters of Niagara Mohawk (a power company for those unfamiliar). Built in 1913, and modeled after the taller Electric Tower of the Pan-American Exposition of 1901. The building was expanded (wings added) in 1924, and again in 1927. This model displays the building's current condition. This building is most well known as perhaps Buffalo's best example of Beaux-Arts style, it's night lighting configuration, and as the location of Buffalo's "First Night" and New Year's Ball Drop.

Includes both RCI Ploppable (CO$$) and Landmark versions of: standard 4x3 lot, and a 3x2 lot intended for placement inside 45 degree intersections. See Readme for details!

Feel free to modify the included lot files. If you should find something to improve the lot without sacrificing realism, i.e. modding, capacity, bugfix, etc., do not hesitate to PM me!

Thanks go to Smoncrie and Gizmo28 :)

Wheres the one that was in the forum that you could put at a 45 degree angle? I like that one better!

Wow, not only do you do a professional-level job faithfully recreating a beautiful, historically-rich building, but then you give us options to actually put it on the same kind of corner on which it resides in real life! Excellent job all around, Sergeancm.

Thanks for the compliments, it's really encouraging! Also, I've enlisted the help of Gizmo28 for the combining of the holiday and standard lighting. It's possible I may be able to update this before I leave on vacation, but no guarantees. If not, April 19 will be the date!

PROBLEM I downloaded this and plugged it into my game (RH) and it loaded this building 6 times into my game. I have 6 different Mohawk buildings to choose from and they are all the same (i think) I'm trying to remove it from my game. ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM????

Traip93: Is it because you installed all of the variant lots? (I.E. Landmark and RCI?) If so, that's your problem, I recommend you choose the variant you prefer and stick with that one. Sorry, but just a limitation with the Lot files.
