It is proud towering on a pedestal near museum of local lore the T-34 tank «Penza Komsomol member» it was established in 1981. It reminds us of the heroic past when in days of the Great Patriotic War on the funds raised by the Penza Komsomol members the tank column legendary the "tridtsatchetverki", sent on the front was constructed.
Katyusha
It is established in November, 1982 at the corner of Bauman and Sverdlov's streets about Penzmash plant. Machine-building enterprise was created in the territory of the former biscuit factory in 1941 on the basis of the evacuated Kharkov plant of spinning cars. At the enterprise directing devices to Katyushas rocket launchers were issued.
