Like simhottoddy wrote winRAR does open it fine.I need to reinstall my winzip to test it in there,but i would say it should open fine there aswell.Thats odd you would get that message. I of course don't know what software pharmist used to create the zip file so that could be the issue.

not working with cxl 2012. crashes the game when you load the map terraformed using this mod.

Is compatible with CXL 2012. To avoid the "crash", delete all mods from your paks folder, leave just this mod, terraform the region you choose, delete this mod and copy all the mods you had again. Worked for me.

for xl2012 , change the file ending *.patch in *.pak and it works . When the File Ending in xl 2012 *.patch the game crashed

 

also make sure that you change the ending in "pak"
