Today for one's viewing and downloading pleasure I present a map of Tasman Peninsula. Site of the harsh and notorious Port Arthur penal settlement, where death was considered an escape from the privations of life. Today it is a short drive SE of Hobart past rugged cliffs and scenic beauty but notoriety follows like a dogged witch and in the late 20th century became the scene of Australia's worst mass murder.

Recently I have had some emails asking for smaller maps, well one anyhow. Something was mumbled about Cray Supercomputers and being the type of bloke I am will release some smaller maps interspersed amongst my normal fair.
Anyhow this is a real world map measuring 24.576km x 24.576km. It was produced with DEM and satellite data and is in 16bits and .SC4M format. It requires Wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer to import it into ones game. And it is still terrain and scale accurate.
