CLC Billboard Pack

By Cleaner475 37.gif

Introducing the CLC Billboard Pack. A pack made up of 10 billboards perfect for your everyday or everyotherday city.

The packs include some new textures that I've never used before in my other sign packs but also a few of the old textures (the best one's in my opinion). The boards are very cheap to plop and maintain and as well as giving a breaf of fresh air into your cities advertising companies, they also have a nice oepn feeling about them and so have the same effect as the default Maxis parks. They have also got nightlights to make them light up your cities skys 1.gif. I hope you like them and find them useful. Enjoy.

Warning: This pack requires the CLC Prop Pack Vol 01 and Vol 02

Credits

Uni - These billboards where created using a model Uni created as a base. I've edited the model, added in nitelights and changedthe basic structure of the billboard, but a lot of the model has still been inspired by Uni's work and his model helped me create this billboard set so a big thank you to him.

It looks to me that there is very little in the way of textures on the billboards, so they look far too white... But good work on pics and description. (Welcome back to uploading and chat btw)

Great models, bad textures. It is sad that you waste the models with those bad textures. 7/10, but could easily get to 9/10 if textures improve.

Textures need some work, but other than that an 8/10 from me, It adds some needed realism into the city, I love it! I hope there are more coming soon.

To me they are a bit to big when I plop them, as in huge, and the texturing needs to be a bit redone. But 4/5.

On the texturing - I gave them a clear white texture to give them a more modern look, I'll darken the textures if I choose to pursue this series. @Joshriddle - I haven't edited the size of the original model so sizing is still correct and based on real life dimensions

the textures could improve, and with some more relevant companies too.... i dont think the average person buys anything from Tork 4/5

As others have said, they're too 'clean' and need to be roughed up (darker, grittier, weathered). A transparent base might also be helpful since not all billboards are in urban settings; they could be rural, next to highways, or in urban green zones. However, this is still an awesome set and I look forward to upcoming work! Thanks for sharing! :-)

Nice models. Just needs more detail.

Example

Come into Best Western
Exit 43 on Airport way

Or something like that. Could also use more billboards
