The Winter Palace (Russian: ?????? ??????) located in St. Petersburg, Russia, was between 1732-1917, the official residence of the Czars of Russia. Located between Avenue Dvortsovaya Naberezhnaya bordering the Neva River and the Palace Square, near the site which was located the primal Winter Palace of Peter the Great, the Winter Palace now is the fourth to be built and suffered continuous renovations in late 1730 and 1837, when it was badly damaged by fire being rebuilt immediately. [1] The attack on the palace in 1917, he became an icon of the Russian Revolution. The model is a museum.
