About This File

This plug-in modds is more speeding vehicles. (such as car, train, monorail etc.)

Edited Vehicle Speed Mod was revised by iLive Reader and SimCity_1.dat in SimCity 4 folder was extracted.

The vehicle is speed as 7 time.

When you open the vehiclemod.dat file by iLive Reader, you will see a LUA file. And when you click The LUA file, there is following source code.

kSpeedExotic = 800
kSpeedSporty = 700 -> Cop car and ambulance car's speed.
kSpeedNormal = 600
kSpeedTruck = 500 -> Freight Truck speed.
kSpeedBus = 400 -> Bus and Schoolbus speed.

Unit of this max speed that is right number value is killometer per hour. The left name is vehicle type.

the passenger train is a real highspeed rail now :D thanks too bad it doent help on commute time or does it? I haven't noticed yet

dont think it does anything to commute time, didnt for me. ( although my medieval region only shows peds and uses streets so dont take my word for it.)

//Legosim, timmystwin The plugin doesn't reduce commute time. It speed vehicle only on drive mode. How to reduce Commute time, you should edit traffic_plugin in NAM file.

//JLAAPRTM The elevated train's speed is not included this plugin's script. I don't well know how to add elevated train's speed in this script too. Maybe, there is how to add vehicle speed in script for plugin in our Simtropolis forum page.

People you dont open dat files they are in your documents downloads simply grab it and drag it to your plugins folder. My only question is Is this compatable with NAM??
