About This File

Welcome to the Austrian Alps! This map covers the entire Oetztal (Oetz Valley) in Austria and some of the surrounding areas, including the valleys of Pitztal, Kaunertal, Inntal, and the Fern Pass which is a major road connection in Tyrol. The map is a HUGE region, with enormous height differences, innumerable mountains and some of the biggest Austrian Glaciers. It includes famous ski resorts like Sölden and Obergurgl, cosy little towns like Imst or Oetz, and lots of tiny alpine villages. If you are a mountain lover, then this map is for you.

This map is 8x16 large city tiles in size. It was created using 1-arc-second DEM-data and 16-bit mapping technology, which makes it 100% height and scale accurate.
