About This File
The Ocean Thermal Gradient Plant (OTGP) is a pipe that goes deep underwater and generates electricity by using warm water, cold water, and a working fluid. Not that it exists yet, it hasn't been proven to work.
ONLY ON SIMTROPOLIS!
The warm water on the surface evaporates a working fluid such as ammonia. As the vapour expands, it turns turbines and generates power. It is then sent deep down, like a kilometer or so, and is condensed by the cold water, brought back up, and thus produces a continuous electricity-generating cycle.
This is a Hybrid of another OTGP that I made (didn’t upload it on the STEX, but on the SC4 Exchange).
