Chamonix Mont Blanc

Well known in the whole world, the city of Chamonix makes all the amateur of mountain sport happy. In the south of the valley draws up the Mont-Blanc which constitutes with his 4809m of altitude the highest point of Western Europe. This massif also shelters the most important glaciers of France, the “Mer de Glace” (Ice-Sea) on the Northern slope being the most known.
This map of 28km x 28km represents the valley of the Arve with part of Sallanches (lowest point 515m), the massif of the Mont-Blanc and the “Aiguilles-Rouges” (Red-Needles) as well as a small part of the valley of Courmayeur located in Italy.
USER INSTRUCTIONS:
You have to own the SC4Mapper software developed by Wouanagaine.
1) Download and unzip the present file
2) Run SC4Mapper and choose “Create Region”
3) Choose SC4M
4) Browse to the unzipped folder and point the map file .SC4M
5) Click on “Save Region” and give a name to it. You can now quit SC4Mapper
6) Launch SC4 and choose the new region you have just created. The colours of the region under SC4 will remain the same ones as under SC4Mapper as long as you will not have loaded a city. If SC4 requires you to connect the edges during the loading of a city, answer “No”.
TERRAIN TEXTURE:
Any snow terrain texture will be perfectly appropriate for this map. Personally, I chose the “Terrain Texture Essential Mod” supplemented with the “MeadowShire Terrain Mod ” from Cycledogg which gives the best results.
