About This File
Fort Worth, Texas Region Map
This map is a map of Fort Worth, Texas with a street map overlay at 1% opacity. This map is fairly large (52 x 44 km; same size as my Quebec City map), and designed for higher-end computers. The street overlay will slightly elevate roads to assist in a recreation of the city, if you want to recreate it. The overlay map is from 1993, and therefore doesn't reflect the current state of the suburbs (and IH-30 south of downtown now goes over and to the south of the rail yard). The street map overlay idea came from pk_boomer's Saskatoon map, available here. Also that the map overlay also includes other data (like waterways, grids, and city names). Since the map covers small parts of Wise, Denton, Johnson, and Dallas counties, and the street map only covers Tarrant County, certain portions of the map do not have an overlay. Note that you'll have to create the rivers yourself.
