About This File
Mount Rainier, in Washington State. One of the tallest mountains in North America, at more than 14,000 feet (4300 m). The region is kinda blocky, with flat areas then short dropoffs instead of slopes, but that was the only way for this to work (each different shade in the jpeg was about 10 m instead of the usual 2.4). It still works though. Kinda difficult to build on (obviously), but it's fun to try. Enjoy!
IMPORTANT
This is a SC4TerraFormer file. To use it, you will need to:
1. Download SC4TerraFormer by Wouanagaine. https://www.simtropolis.com/modding/index.cfm?p=details&id=391
2. Unzip that file and install it.
3.Download this file and unzip.
4. Move that folder to your My Documents/Simcity4/Regions folder. Delete the other folder inside of it. (Keep the files not in that folder. There should be a config, a .SC4M, and the 2 images shown above still left)
5. Open up SC4TerraFormer and select the region "Mount Rainier"
6. Under "Global Tools," select "Import Image."
7. Select MountRainierTerrain.SC4M. This will bring up the region.
8. Make any changes you want and save.
9. Open up SimCity and open your region. It will be all bright like in SC4TerraFormer. When you enter a city, it reverts to the normal textures. In essence, this lets you render the map at whatever pace you want instead of all at once.
