Doppler radar towers are found in places around the world and are used to detect weather systems with great detail. Unlike conventional radar, doppler radar can detect rain drops and wind currents. This one was specifically designed for use at Socale International Airport to track aircraft and weather, but was never actually put into service. I recommend you use it near an airport, but it can really go anywhere!
