Guangzhou (formely Canton). Located in South China on the magnificient Pearl river. A very old city who's been the gate of Cathay for century bringing the Chinese crafts, potteries and silk to Rome, India, Arabia and later, Venice.
Modern Guangzhou is a mix of Big Skyscraper and small busy street. Big western and Chinese companies along with poor and degraded houses. Long time associated with Hong-Kong.
Fill with parks and canals (only the big ones are on the map), guard by the majectic Baiyan mount (centre North).
Guangzhou is still famous for his exotic cuisine. (a must in this town. DON'T ASK WHAT ARE YOU EATING... it's good, eat it and shut up. You'll avoid amazing surprises).
The map is quite accurate and represent practically all the city.
