Concorde Museum 2

The idea alone deserves a 10, on top of that the lot looks pretty neat!

I wonder why they permanetly grounded the concodes. Probably because of the French accident, but even then, lots of boiengs have exploded or crashed, and they are not grounded. Or is it because they just did not have enough users of it?

i think concordes are brilliant, ive neva acctually been on one but the design of it was amazing, i saw it land for the 1st time in Birmingham, UK so im happy, this derserves a 10

Skill! A great lot that I'm sure I will make good use of. Concorde was grounded for 3 reasons: 1. It cost a lot. 2. Low custom due to terrorism. 3. The crash in France. I made a thread about it in OT.

I have flown the Concord. It was excellent. The erson concords are being permanatly grounded though is becasue they cost too much to fly. At 6k a tiket, I am surprised it was not grounded for good long ago. Also it has been in service for 27 years. The End of an Era, 10

Richard Branson did try to buy a Concord to keep it flying but BA wont sell.

Great lot!! Always liked the concorde. Real shame it got grounded. I wonder if theyll let me have one to keep in my garden!!!

For anyone's info, the last concorde built and the last to fly can now be visited in Bristol, UK - funds raised will help towards a permanent museum nearby. I have been and it is well worth it...even if your not a great plane fan!
