About This File

This is a map of the city and surrounding region of Nuremburg, Germany. It is NOT accurately scaled (it was elongated to fit in 4x4 large city tiles which accounts for its apparent inaccuracy) and was terraformed using geological data, I modified the original greyscale slightly to make the map more conducive to SimCity 4 gameplay. The region is 4x4 large city tiles.

Instructions:

1. Under the directory My Documents > SimCity 4 > Regions, create a new folder with the desired name for your region.

2. Download the config.bmp and place it the folder you just created.

3. Now download the Nuremberg.jpg and save it where ever you please.

4. Start up SC4 and load the region you just created.

5. Press the keys CTRL + ALT + Shift + R at the same time, thus bringing up a box in the top left hand corner.

6. Navigate your way to the location in which you saved the Nuremberg.jpg, find it and double click it.

7. Now the region will begin to render, have patience and give the game somewhere around 10 to 30 minutes to render the region. While this is happening, do not run any other programs or use your computer in any other way.

I hope you enjoy this map, drop me a PM if you experience any problems.

Well it's Nuremberg as well as the surrounding region...but that's what the geological data said. :p Anyway, it's more a place where the river widens and splits into other rivers then an actual lake.

Accurate or not ... it's still a beautifully done map. Way better than some of the crap I've seen released lately. Keep up the good work.
