Personally I won't be using this but it looks really good and the best thing about it....Its a real map! Anyways nice work.

Your "greysacle" image is actually "24 bit true color". That's why you can't get it to render in SC4. Open it in MS-Photo Editor (or equivalent) and change the properties to 8 bit greyscale. It's huge so the render may never complete. Useful by cropping sections for separate regions. Good technical work though

its not huge there are maps larger than this here excellent map though 9/10 you really need to convert to greyscale in any gaphic progam other than MSPaint

Lanscaper Designer will also do this for you. Its a great program and will convert any Picture to 8 bit. Just do a search for it.

This is an absolutely remarkable representation of the state topography (Moved from Miami Co., IN to Texas... nice map!

Why cannot this author fix Indiana to be greyscale and repost it? Just a thought.
