About This File

Presenting the first lacrosse-related upload onto the STEX! A sport relatively unknown to much of the world, played primarily in the mid-atlantic US, though its popularity has spread to the west coast, Australia, and Scandinavia. Basically another ball-and-net game, the small ball is carried by players in a net, and fired at high speeds. It is a violent and gritty sport, despite the idea of the game, and the traditional players of it - the suburban upper class. Though it has a professional league in the US, most fans support the college and prep circuit.

This field is modeled after a couple of examples that I've seen from Virginia up to New York. Some places don't have pressboxes, as this doesn't; most of the reporting and press is caught up in the party areas around the field. Games and recaps are heavily televised through the area, and many local schools have started up major rivalries.

Warning- If you place this in the middle of a city, the turf WILL look tacky. I'd put this in a deep park, or scattered suburban area if I were you.

Appears under parks, and promotes high wealth. Plop Cost: 4000

This is a bad picture. There are cars and people in the parking lots, and I added a canopy over the center of the main grandstand since I took this. I'll upload a new one later.

You made a stadium without using ingame buildings. I like how much your inproving, you should make an arena, you have the skills to.

Alex - If you think I didn't use any, then don't look under the bleachers, please.

Beautiful-im a defenseman for North Harford Hawks in MD, great lot!!! However, ypu forgot all the lines in "the box" look on the sides-the box doesn't include the sidelines. oh well, i can fix that.

Rush - ...duck farmer. Oh, erm, *cough*. Yeah, I kinda skimped on the lines, they were tickin me off. I'll fix that if I ever make my high school pack.

Lacrosse is the official national sport of canada believe it or not!! I know nothing about it though!!! The field could be a little less bright seeing as it is an outdoor lot... other than that it looks like a lacrosse field.

Pea picker? That's a new one to me. But no, I'm not a NH hater, I was close to the line of going there. Hal - it's astroturf.

why, did you go the C.milton wright or BelAir? Or Harve de Grace? Why do you hate NH, there are about 100 farmers in the school right now, and the schools a POS!

I said that I don't hate NH, and I really don't at all, it's a cool area. I go to tech, that's like the least-respected school in the county.

Interesting tho I don't like Astroturf. I'll try it out. Brings back memories of when my roommate & I would walk veeeeery sloooowly past the field where the intramural lacrosse team practiced. Uh, not because they had on tight shorts! Because we loved the game!

You neglected to mention Canadian content in your summary scba, >>hint hint<<. The first documented game was in 1636 featuring Huron tribes in Ontario and the first set of rules were standardized by a Canadian dentist in 1867 -- sounds corny but it's true...

...Lacrosse is the national SUMMER sport of Canada and has been played avidly in southern Ontario and southern B.C. for decades. The Mann Cup (senior men's LAX title) is one of the most valuable trophies in all of sports, made of solid gold (worth $25 000) and dates back to 1901...

...The Toronto Rock and Calgary Roughnecks have won 6 of the last 7 NLL championships, and 95% of the players in the NLL are Canadian. As far as this upload goes (LOL) it looks great, although natural grass might work better appearance-wise. Thanks so much scba! <:-D ...LAX RULES!!

I had no idea that Canada was into it, my bad. When I make a v2, I'll include that, and make it grass. Turf was just easier, since you don't have to texture it or anything.

Oh, I have a bad comprehension problem. Tech is unfortunately like the most hated school in the county. But the MOSt hated school is that new Sci&MAth academy in Aberdeen. Everyone i know hates that school. Tech is a good school, though. Nice talking to you man.
