About This File

This is a map of the area around Buxton, UK (the larger one). It's scaled accurately. It's 21 by 14 km. Have fun!

 

 

 

Instructions:

 

 

1) Create a new folder called Buxton in your ..My DocumentsSimCity 4Regions directory.

2) Download the config.bmp file and place it in the new folder

3) Download the buxton.jpg file and remember where you downloaded it to.

4) Run your SimCity 4 game

5) Open the Buxton Region

6) On your keyboard, press and hold down 'ctrl' + 'alt' + 'shift' + 'r'--this should bring up a dialogue box

7) Browse to the folder that you downloaded buxton.jpg to, find "buxton.jpg", and open this file.

8) This should start the rendering. BE PATIENT. This will likely take between 5 and 25 minutes.

9) Have fun!

As Buxton, UK is in the centre of England I can't see how there are any beaches close by. There certainly weren't last time I was there.

Whoops, I forgot to change that part of the description (I copy and paste from my last Map, and it was of the "beaches north of Sydney"... I forgot to take the beaches part out)... :)

much flatter than i remember? well u must be right is this not Buxton in the peak district, i have the wrong one sorry, great work
