errr... why would it be "practical" if it doesn't have any use? It does give an illusion of a sunken intersection... a straight section would be helpful as well if used for that purpose. I personally have never seen this in real life.

Its the same as having buildings on the corner that limit your view,I dont see the problem.

they have something similiar to these in Wichita Ks. but they have "fins" or mohawk looking brushed steel blades at the top. from pictures it looks cool, if you stand ON THE HIGHWAY.. they inclose downtown perfectly, but in RL most res's think they suck!

I like these a lot - but perhaps they'd look even nicer if the brightness was tuned down to that of the in-game grass?
