Plop your own functional residential neighbourhood!
Aside from Ralphael's tutorial, I think this is the first public use of custom prop groups. I have used them to randomize the houses that appear on plopped lots.
This set consists of 6 lots that can be arranged in any number of ways to recreate realistic neighbourhoods in the Chicago building style. Since I've made use of custom prop groups I've included the necessary plugins. Just transfer the plugins to your plugins directory.
I hope everyone else finds these as useful as I have in recreating real cities, and I will continue to work on more variations (ie, New York and houston buildings, different lot sizes, richer neighbourhoods...)
Many thanks to Ralphael Ninja for making public the knowledge on how to make custom prop groups.
Also note that the prop groups I have used start numbering at 0xa0000301 upwards. Hopefully no one else has touched these yet.
