About This File
A dominating feature on the Buffalo skyline, the 23-story Liberty Building stands in as Buffalo's 5th tallest skyscraper at 101 meters (333 ft). The building was constructed in 1925 as the new headquarters for the Liberty Bank of Buffalo. Previous to World War I, the rapidly growing bank was known as the German American Bank. Their new name and the styling of the new building were meant to affirm the patriotism of the bank's owners, fearing a backlash of anti-German sentiment following the war. Renovated in 1999, the state-of-the-art building now houses offices for many various businesses, and stands as one of the most technologically advanced in the Buffalo area.
I have included both RCI Ploppable (CO$$) and Landmark versions of this building. The RCI Ploppable version hosts 1400 jobs. Both lots measure 5x2 tiles. Landmark effects are similar to those of other Maxis landmarks.
