Team Grater presents 650 California St.BAT created by bixel Modding, lot design, readme by bixel Fixed LM & PLOP issue missing correct building Check out Bixel's SF Buildings at Simtropolis Introduction / Overview 650 California Street, also known as the Hartford Building is a 34 story, 142 m, (466 feet) office tower on the northwestern edge of San Francisco's Financial District. The tower is located on California Street on the edge of Chinatown, and not far from 555 California Street. 650 California is visible from every direction except from the southeast, where the Financial District skyscrapers block the view. Description The building was designed by Edward Charles ("Chuck") Bassett of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill for Hartford Insurance, its initial tenant. It is architecturally significant, featuring a tall modernist lobby, high ceilings, and an exterior skeleton of floor-to-ceiling windows recessed into a square gridwork of precast white reinforced concrete. When this tower was completed in 1964, it was the second in San Francisco larger than 400,000 square feet or 37,000 square meters. It also became California's tallest building, replacing both the Russ Building in San Francisco and the Los Angeles City Hall in Los Angeles, California.[1] Later skyscrapers in both San Francisco and Los Angeles took the title of California's tallest from this building Key tenants include Littler Mendelson (world headquarters), Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Credit Suisse, Jefferies & Co., Fairmont Hotel Management, Fliesler Meyer LLP, Jones Hall Law Corporation, and KBCW (former). A key scene from the documentary Live Nude Girls Unite (2000) was filmed in the lobby and a Littler conference room, where strippers met with attorneys for Littler, who was representing their employer, the Lusty Lady, in an effort to prevent the strippers from organizing a labor union. 650 California was acquired for USD $160 million by the Pivotal Group in 2000, then sold to a Private Investor in 2005. You will find the following versions: ploppable landmark ploppable functional landmark (CO$$) growable CO$$ Dependencies Props: none! Textures: none! Stats and Values All game-relevant values you might like to know are listed in the following overview tables. Please note that all versions of this building share the same set of statistics. This way, if you need to clean your HD and reinstall your OS, you can simply copy the stuff from your backup archive into your plugins folder instead of having to download all plugins anew. That said, in order to use this building in game, I suggest you first go to your plugins folder and make a sub-folder for this download. Then, simply copy the .sc4model file(s) (the actual building model) plus the lot file(s) of whatever version(s) you'd like to use into the newly created folder. To uninstall a version you don't like after it has grown in your cities, first bulldoze all instances of that version in your cities, then save the cities and exit. Now you can safely remove the version without running any risk to experience crashes or any other inconvenience. Bixel on behalf of Team Grater Wednesday, December 24, 2008.- 23 Comments

Team Grater presents McKesson Building BAT created by bixel Modding & lot design by bixel readme by bixel Check out Bixel's SF Buildings at Simtropolis Introduction / Overview McKesson Plaza (Building) is an office skyscraper located on Market Street in San Francisco's Financial District. The building, completed in 1969, stands 529 feet (161 m) tall and has 38 floors. McKesson Corporation is headquartered in this tower. McKesson HBOC is one of San Francisco's Top 5 head offices with sales of US$52 billion in 2002. - The Crocker Galleria is an open-air retail mall located at the building's base, largest of its kind downtown. - Granite and marble highlight the 30-foot high all-glass entrance lobby. - Rests on the site formally occupied by the Crocker Building. - The exterior is constructed of 1 inch thick Norwegian granite mounted on precast concrete panels. This building was used for the exterior shots of Cathedral Software in the 1995 film The Net, starring Sandra Bullock, Jeremy Northam, and Dennis Miller. The following lots are included: Functional CO$$ Landmark Dependencies NONE!!! (am I awesome or wut??) Stats and Values All game-relevant values you might like to know are listed in the following overview tables. TABLE 2: FUNCTIONAL LANDMARKS!!! oooh oooh oooohhhhh Parameter LANDMARK Jobs n Paper Pushers: 1,300 CO$$ Lot Size 1x3 >> seeing Plopping Diagram for details. Menu Position: Landmarks, somewhere O_O Plop Cost: A Billion Dollars!! > Just Kidding! 10,000. Installation Simply unzip the content of this archive into your plugins folder and delete all the lots you don't want. It is generally recommendable to unzip the entire download into a backup folder first and then copy only those files that you want into a sub-folder inside your main plugins folder. This procedure makes it easier to keep full control and leave out files that are not required in game, such as this readme and the screenshots. In case you are looking for any .SC4desc files, these have been merged with the associated lot files to reduce clutter. Due to the individual names of each lot, I needed one desc per lot anyway, so this method suggested itself. To uninstall a version you don't like, just delete the lot file from your plugins folder. IMPORTANT: If any instance of the lot in question has already grown in one or more cities, first bulldoze all instances of that version in all your cities, then save the cities and exit. Now you can safely remove the version without running any risk to experience crashes or any other inconvenience. Bixel on behalf of Team Grater Sunday, December 14, 2008- 36 Comments

Team Grater presents 680 Folsom St. BAT created by bixel Modding & lot design by bixel readme by bixel Check out Bixel's SF Buildings at Simtropolis Introduction / Overview 680 Folsom St is a building on the corner of Folsom and Hawthorne Streets, in San Francisco, California. For four decades, the AT&T complex at Third and Folsom streets has been an imposing concrete fortress designed to keep the public at bay and business operations as secure and secretive as possible. Now TMG Partners and RREEF are getting ready to bring air and light -- and the public -- into the two-building property with a $200 million renovation and expansion the developers hope will transform the property into one of the most desirable office buildings south of Market. Before this is done, our hero Bixel has immortalised the old brutalist buildings here for you in SimCity4!!!!
