  1. The wrong side of the tracks

These are some great shots.  I would suggest downloading the Slope MOD for a more realistic add to your freeway's appearance.  Keep up the good work.
  2. SL Seaports

Great update.  My personal favourite is the region view.  Very realistic...very good work.
  3. News

Great use of the constuction lots - it really adds realism to the expansion.
  4. Bridgeforth & Downtown Overview [+map]

That map is sure excellent.  Great work and awesome journal. Cheers.
  5. Prop Pox Killed the City!

I regret to inform everyone that is reading this that Revelstoke has been affected by Prop Pox. Basically there is no way to fix this issue once it has happened. I will have to create another city eventually. Until then I am sorry but this journal (although new) is closed. Let this be a warning to everyone that you should back-up your city after every save (weekly sometimes isn't enough). For detailed information visit: https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=1201.msg46116#msg46116 Cheers.
  6. In no way am I new to SC4 and all of it's features. Recently, I have had a somewhat critical issue occur while playing the game. Needless to say, the game IS stable; it doesn't crash during start-up, saving, playing, etc. Nor does it have any other odd issues. The things I have noticed that have been detrimental to the game are the graphical issues especially, and some minor increase in the loading time for the cities. During installation of each of these dependencies I used the Cleanitol and when installing the BAT's I installed any required dependencies and read the comments to ensure no issues were being caused. Now, I do not know if any sole person on this website is able to help me but it would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Cheers.
  7. If anyone comes across this issue please read: https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=1201.msg46116#msg46116 Very helpful indeed.
  8. Hmm, I tried and all of my graphic options are on their highest possible and I tried to switch the rendering but nothing has changed.
  9. Finally a reply! Thanks for the help SWAT-MEDIC, but I have already tried that and basically the same thing happens: brown boxes everywhere. It's so weird because every time I save the game (which I have refrained from doing recently) the textures become wiped off of certain, random areas. I don't know what's wrong; it's like a virus within the game... Thanks again.
  10. This is an update message*** I tried to see if it was a plug-in issue by using my back-up plug-ins and the error still persisted but with everything that was needing a dependency was replaced by a brown box. Luckily, the issue is NOT a plug-in. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
  11. Dethsrows NYC CJ

That was one large update. Nice to see you are getting used to ST. Great work on having that large of a city. Good luck. Cheers.
  12. When saving SC4 freezes

    What OS do you have?
  13. Leyland County: The Region's Breadbasket

Great update! Your farm land looks great from afar and the rural feel is great.  I would like to see a picture of the inland corridor when it begins. Cheers.
  14. LaSalle Drive looks great along that construcitng river (which looks amazing as well).  I like the brige across the river too.  However, your roads look bleached or washed out. Is that a MOD?
  15. The Right Bank Needs No Bailout

The surrounding areas by the church have a nice, prestigious feel.  Another great update. Cheers.
  16. Those maps are amazing.  Great detail. Cheers.
  17. A Look At Revelstoke's Expansion

Well, basically a year has come since I have been creating this journal and I would like to show everyone how much the area has expanded, improved, and grown into what is now known as Revelstoke. 2008 2009
  18. The Region Itself

Great update and that region view is one of the best I have seen.  Cheers.
  19. Parkside Mosaic

Welcome to the continuation of Revelstoke. My name is Riley Riffel and I will be doing my best to present this fictional city based on some inspiration from existing Canadian cities. This is a continuation from an existing City Journal in the older section so please refer to previous updates if you do have any questions. However, I am available to be reached via E-mail or PM. My E-mail is riffelr@gmail.com and I will be more than happy to answer any questions. Of course all comments (positive that is) are welcome on here to let me know what you think of my work. Well for now I will leave you all with Revelstoke! This is just some of the work I have been working with. Please let me know what you think. Cheers.
  20. Nautilus Stage Two

Great update.  The welcome signs along the avenue are a great touch.  Keep up the good work. Cheers.
  21. Downtown Construction

This is all amazing!  From the buildings under construction, your breathtaking City Hall, to the radical automata I am amazed.  This is some great work! Cheers.
  22. An overview so you can see how small this place is, then we get to the closeups.

Nice start to a CJ.  I really like the avenue you have implemented in this.  I would sugest minimizing the main menu by clicking on the "minimize" button and holding down CTRL + SHIFT + S to take a shapshot of the area.  It looks much better! Cheers.
  23. Poll, for the New Capitol Building!!

    I agree with chptrk.
  24. Oh, its all screwed up!

I haven't commented here in awhile and it looks like you have MASSIVE progress; it's all great.  Especially the last update. Cheers.
  25. Harbour Landing

Welcome back everyone and thanks for all of your comments. Please note that I will devote an update for comments that have specific questions, comments, or concerns. With this update I have been refining some of Revelstoke's main arteries. Even though it is not featured in this update via pictures, you can see some upgrades in the region view (last image for those who don't care). The highway that runs from east to west through the city is called the Crowsnest Highway and I am upgrading it to a dual RHW and those interchanges are far from simple (especially when using a Slope Mod). If you look closely, you can also see some development west of the city (across the river) including a major stadium, and beyond the city limits a small, commuter town that will facilitate some of the farming communities expected to eventually populate the city. I apologize for the week of no updates but I have some texture problems in the city. To be courteous I did not want to feature them in this update as it is not a forum, but if anyone has any help that they are willing to offer please PM me and I can offer you some shots. I am sure it is just an incompatible plugin but that's what I get for downloading dependencies; ironic eh? Well without further adjure I present you with Revelstoke's newest suburb: Harbour Landing (named just for the Regina viewers). Comments are appreciated! Thanks for the views and please comment! Cheers.
