Ok, I'm just going to go ahead and let it all out. The truth is: This is GloStik speaking All my previous accounts were Evil_IceCreamMan1210, Storm360, and Tsunami Evil_IceCreamMan1210: First time to ST. Had fun, but unnintentional noobie behavior got in the way (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/$%&^!), and ended up making the mistake of cursing at a mod, being stupid in chat, doing wierd things and getting banned. I thought it was permanent, but apparently it's not, as I am logged in as the account now. Storm360: My second attempt. I was determined not to goof up at all. I even wrote a little document saying what to do and what not to do at SimTropolis. It didnt' work as I got banned. However, I ended up over-reacting to only a 3-day chat ban and went ahead and made another account. Tsunami/GloStik: I made Tsunami, but I didn't take a favoring to the name, so I made another account, the infamous GloStik. I ended up getting in trouble for being 12 and got banned, but I was getting horribly tired of creating new accounts, so I used Tsunami as like a "Temporary Bomb Shelter", but it failed, as my behavior was similar and quickly realized, and I admitted. However, SkiGeek was nice to allow me to come back on my birthday. Another lie: I was impatient and really wanted to get back in so I said my birthday was like the 10 or something when it was really the 24th. Then I got "victim" syndrome when my threads started to get constantly closed over and over, and I ended up blaming it all on poor ThatMonkeySim, which resulted in me getting banned for good. In this time-peroid, I had bought TRS2006 and had been hanging out at their fourums as Lo_Poly. I was really wanting to get back to ST and at least write a note like this, and a friendly other member (name disclosed for privacy) said he would e-mail SkiGeek, but got no response. So basically I'm just trying to apologise for the havoc and mayhem I've caused. My fate here is now in the hands of the Simtropolis admins. I just kind of wanted to get that guilt off my mind. If you choose to let me in, I promise to be goofy but good and behaved. The decision is up to you now. (Note to moderators: please do not close or delete this thread as it is a mere apology)

I can't get frickin' BAT to work! Okay, I downloaded it of SC4.com, thought it would be easy but NOOO. I had to download a thing called Gmax. Searched the web for like 2 hours, found only ONE thing. Tried it - but had to pay $5.95!!!!!! So i did anyway, but to get it to work i had to sign up for a site, but that didn't work, the program kept asking for a code that the site wouldn't give meee!!!!! Rrr, I had SOOO many ideas, and now i've got 21.4mbs of worthless JUNK on my computer!!!! Help me!!!! I'm drowning in worthless readmes and programs!!!! I think i'll shoot myself now.

Yeah it's really cool! Tried it myself! The only problem is that the No Power/No Water/No Transportation/No Works zots were DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!!! Raphael dude, now you just need to make a mod that makes the zots invisible (please???)!

It's quite simple really, it's just there is always a common mistake. Here's the PROPER way to do it: HOW TO: 1. Open SC4 2. Select Create New Region 3. Exit SC4 4. Go to My Documents 5. Open the SimCity 4 File-not the program 6. Open the file Regions 7. Open the region's file 8. Select the bitmap config 9. open it up and edit: 10. RULES: A-You can expand it or shrink it if you wish-even make a single city! B-Don't make it any bigger than 100x96 pixels or the game won't be able to load it! C-Blue means large, green means medium, and red means small D-Reds should be 1pixel, Greens should be 4 pixels, and Blues should be 16pixels C-do it wrong and the a message will pop up saying Failed to load region D-Here is a good example: http://photobucket.com/albums/b189/gogo293/?action=view&current=config2.jpg Try opening it up in paint or windows fax viewer etc. to get a better view HOW TO NOT: 1. The big mistake is that many people think what to do is: A-Make a new folder in the regions folder (and name the folder) B-Then make a region config 2. The problem is that SC4 can't see it because it does not have a Region .dat! SC4 makes these when you make a new region. Only SC4 and the system can make these .dat files, so it is impossible to make a region from scratch. This is why you have to do it the way I posted above. TIPS: 1. You can edit the .dat file without harming the region (and possibly the game!), only if you do it the RIGHT way! 2. Open the file up A-You should see a Name = (city name). If you don't like the name just erase it and type in the one of your choice. Easy as pie! B-You should not play with the other ones, as they are very sensitive. Tampering with them can severly mess up your region! C-Example: if you were to adjust Water Min = (??) Water Max = (??), you could accendentally end up with a city underwater! Goodbye huge city that I've worked on for months! REMEMBER THIS AND YOU WILL BE A REGION DESIGNER EXTRORDANAIRE!!!
