  1. Introduce Yourself Here!

Oh wow, it's been a while since I was online here. RL has eaten up much of my time. Getting back to something more normal now with work and marking out of the way (for now). London city (SC4) is going well financially, will post (hopefully) some pics soon. Regards Valk
  2. Hi Jack, So let me get this straight. The MySims_Rulez (.dat file) is now in the Plugins folder. I can then add a folder named "MySim" inside the SimCity 4 folder and copy the readme_MySimtropolis_v1.131 into that new folder ... yes??
  3. I'm currently doing a system wide search for anything with the file name of, "Mysim".
  4. Thank you for including me. I have a problem though: "Copy entire contents to: C:\Users\UserName\Documents\SimCity 4\MySim" My file directory only has, "C:\Users\UserName\Documents\SimCity 4" There is nothing titled "MySim" in the SimCity 4 folder. I have the SimCity 4.cmg file and 4 folders marked, "Regions, Plugins, HTTPCache & Exception Reports". That is it. Pls help.
  5. Would like to be added to the team as well. Regards Valkonig. Lloyd Male Gemini

  7. Introduce Yourself Here!

Hi CorinaMarie, Thank you for the welcome. I've done the tutorials and started fresh on the New York region stock standard with lots of flat terrain but zero sims. This will be my template to make a squillion mistakes on without loosing the the pre-set cities already done on Timbuktu. Valk
  8. Introduce Yourself Here!

Hi all, SimCity started for me with SC 2000 almost 20 years ago. I loved it. I then bought the SC4 package on CD rom (twin discs) which corrupted after years of use. I am now making a return to the Deluxe Edition of SC4 (with Rush Hour) on a cheap laptop via the Steam Platform. Over the last 12 years, I've been playing PvP based games online and quite frankly I've had enough of logging in to years of work destroyed by another online player only to have to rebuild it all again. So the interest I previously had in 'Single player gaming' was slowly returning and the Steam discount marked my return. I definitely like the updates to the game ... Elevated railways, 1-way roads to name only two, but the BIG thing is the developers kept the game basically unchanged. I've long gone by the motto, "the community makes the game" and so I'm looking forward to discussing designs and disasters with the community here. Regards Valk
