Thanks @Handyman and @rsc204 you have both been a great help, I never thought of using my Nvidea settings for SC4, the funny thing is I use it for most of my favourite games. I would just like to say what a great bunch of people here at Simtropolis, really helpful and friendly unlike some of the troll infested forums I have visited. Thanks for the replies, first @Handyman, I have SC4 on Origin same as my SimCity (2013) the one with cities of tomorrow expansion. I am running a Windows 10 machine with a Nvidea GTX 970, My Monitor is a BENQ 24inch led. If you need anymore info on my machine just ask :), as I build my own I know everything about it. In response to @rsc204 I don't use software rendering and generally play the game straight from the box so to speak. Although I build my own machines I am not really software savvy, I generally build them to play games and surf the net, also I keep my music on it which is quite extensive and has it's own drive. Looking at your screenshots, they look fantastic, mine just looks dated, yours are nice and sharp like I want them to be. I have seen the command line before but only on Steam, where does it need to be on Origin ?. Thanks Again For The Help Odin

Hi Everyone I run my games usually in standard 1080 but with SC4 the game looks really dated and kind of stretched out and blurred. I was watching a video yesterday and noticed that his SC4 looked sharp and really clear. I know SC4 defaults to 1080 but I would like mine to look as crisp as his. Is it a mod or does he have a different resolution as I suspect. What Res do you guys run the game in ? Thanks For Reading Odin

Hello I am new to the forums and am looking for some advice on mods like which are best and which to avoid. I was shocked to find out that the SimCity games could be modded which I never knew until today. I have SimCity 4 and SimCity, think it's 2013 though not played it for that long I forget. ( it's an age thing lol). The one with Cities Of Tomorrow expansion. Would like to find mods for both if that's possible also how to install them would be handy too. Thanks for the welcome, been looking round the forum's, its a nice place and the members seem like nice genuine folk. I wish I had found this forum when I first started playing back in the day, it seems like most members prefer SimCity 4 to SimCity which kinda shocked me. Looking for some mods and looking for a way to install some, so if anyone could give me a heads up as to which mods I need and which ones to avoid I would be most grateful. Odin

Hi Everyone I am an old man who is addicted to city building games, especially SimCity. I also play most of the other City Building games such as Cities Skyline to Workers and Resources Soviet Union which is on early access, I do like mods but don't have the faintest clue how to mod SimCity and which mods are best. I am looking forward to meeting some of you online. Although I have had SimCity for years I have only recently dug it out and started to play it, aaaah the memories :). Never played a multi-player game yet so look forward to that in the near future. Got to do some gardening which I hate then I will be playing a bit later. Thanks for reading Odin
