[ERROR MSG] Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Sparks1176 replied to ArabianCamelsUnited's topic in Cities: Skylines Technical Help Q&A
I always get that message too when trying to convert growables into ploppable using RICO. THE only way I have gotten around it is that I don't mess with the drop down arrows. I keep every residential, it's really dumb and I don't know how that is going to affect the gameplay, but I don't build cities for function, I just like replicating real cities, so to me it doesn't matter. But if anyone could explain what I am doing wrong that would be great. Like for example, whenever I try and do it "the right way" all my residential homes and buildings work fine, but as soon as I try the others like commerical, office or industry for some reason I don't know what I am doing wrong. I tend to guess that the UI category and levels I am choosing are not right and then causes an error in the game. Anyone know how to fix this or else I am just going to keep doing it the way I have been. But just kinda makes it a pain because I have to scroll thru a bunch of blank grey boxes in my residential list to find what i am looking for. But anyway, to the author of this post, that's how I got around it if you don't get it to work. -

This is some great work! I am curious to know which tree set you use? They are very realistic looking. Thanks! Keep up the good work! -

Nice CJ thus far. I did notice a couple of things that i would love to know what they are and where to get them. If you could let me know it would be greatly appreciated. https://i964.photobucket.com/albums/ae122/Sparks1176/Weston-Apr15821275150750copy.jpg Items are circled in red, thanks in advance for your response. I will check back for future updates. -
Mulefisk: I thought "Rate one Image" already had this thread locked up? Where have you ever seen positive feedback in their thread? lol. When you wrote that mock rating, I thought that you just had copied and pasted it from one of their threads.

Show us your Mayor's home and government complex
Sparks1176 replied to RushHourFreak's topic in SC4 Showcase
Here is the William Hunter Mansion where the Mayor of Abbeville resides. Mansion was the home of the founder of Abbeville William Hunter from 1709-1724. -

Waz Up Tiger: Sparks1176- 8/10 its good but its basiclly the baseball stadium, which Maxis did a good job on I think This is a good reason why I stopped posting pics, because no matter what I do it never seems to be good enough, lol. I give up. Thank you for pointing out that it's basically a baseball stadium. I am very aware of that, and as hundreds of others have used Maxis' Stadium for their ballparks, but you have to use your imagination. I thought and feel that it's a little more than a ballpark shot. It's a night game with a sold out crowd with the Explorers on the field with a KSIM News Helicopter flying over head. Also has the Wellington Condos overlooking the field, where you can see chairs and picnic tables set up to enjoy the games from the rooftop, (kinda like Wrigley Field) as well as a nice park area outside left field of the ballpark. But I am glad that all you got out of the shot was a Maxis Baseball Stadium. Very observant.

nedal2001: I really look forward to your CJ, that is one of the best shots I have seen, 10/10 seemurray2: You do great work as well, I plan to check out your CJ, 10/10 emilin: Nice pic, I have a similar shot of one of my towns, very rural and peaceful. 9/10 Here's a shot of Hermann Park at Fork Station home to the La Salle Expolorers.

Philadelphia vs Pittsburgh

Don't start a thread if we can't voice our opinions. And nothing about my response was untrue. -
Philadelphia vs Pittsburgh
Sparks1176 replied to st louis dude's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning
~Agreed. I'm simply editing this part since the other post has now been deleted~ Mic now with that said, back on topic. Philly is certifiable 100 times better. Without the steel industry dried up in Picksburg, there is nothing left there. The penquins want to leave town so bad because their arena is a joke. The Pirates havent had a winning season in over 15 years. They have nothing to offer. Philly on the other hand, Other than it being the backbone of this country with Independance hall, liberty bell and the birthplace of the constitution. Has all 4 major sports teams with brand new state of the art stadiums and arenas. Home of the world famous Cheesesteak, along with some of the most unique and interesting architecture that has been mainstreamed throughout the country, I.E. Rowhouses, Liberty One and Two. I could go on and on, but this discussion is like comparing Apples to Oranges. There is no Comparison. Philadelphia is by far the better city. All around. -
Just what the STEX needs, MORE Stadiums!! This is really good work so far, I'm from Philly inspired to start a Seattle CJ just based on Safeco Field....haha. Looke forward to the download. I think you are going to become very popular in the future for BAT requests.

zzsim: Sparks1176 2: 7/10 Nice looking waterfront nieghborhood, but it could use something to liven it up a bit. I'd suggest checking out jeronij's street mod, it'll add some better textures to your streets along with some really great trees. It would certainly make this neighborhood much more asthetically pleasing and interesting. (Note: This is just my suggestion, and if you prefer the way it looks now, than that's just fine.) Cjah: Sparks1176:Hmm....nice suburbs and the whole area is all maxis...very interesting....I like the rocks and the beach area...maybe get some bats or something....also space out the houses just a bit.... Camron: Sparks1176: Good beaches and street layout, 7/10. Sanantonio: Sparks1176.. Your beaches look good, but I feel like something is missing. Good work, though. 6.5/10 I wouldn't have posted it if I didn't want pure honesty or constructive criticism. I felt like I am getting better, but only realizing I still have a long way to go. I did have that street mod, but wasn't crazy about cycledogg's trees. I'll play around with it. Abbeville is a working class town, not really made to be "beautiful" but it is near the beach so could use some color. I will be back with a new improved South Shore! Thanks for the comments guys!

Nice Shot! Bourneid: 8.5/10, will have to check out your CJ. CJah: I have to agree with Bourneid, download the no arrows one way mod. 7/10 Here's another shot from Abbeville's South Shore....

Some shots from one of my towns Abbeville. Features some neighborhoods from South Shore, Centre Grove, Industry Acres and Independence Park.
