Comprehensive SimCity Music Collection, Version 3.2
Mr Baseball replied to trar's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Yep, they are playing in game. What memories. I may burn them to CD as my CD player is my general music player. -
And I thought "Trainz" was the only game where I had to deal with dependencies. Good to know.

Hello I'm a SC vet going back to 2000 on Playstation and 3000 on PC. Reading about the new version got me hankering to play again but I'm not sure I wan to get into the new version with the "always online" and no single player mode so I picked up a copy of SC4 in a bargain bin and have been playing with it for a couple of days and doing a little reading. I saw that most people seem to be using the Rush Hour or Deluxe version so I checked out Amazon and was able to get Deluxe for free, thanks to an gift card balance. So where do I begin? It seems the gameplay is different from 3000 as far as the regions go, it looks like there are no more neighbors for you to start off with. Do you have to create and play neighboring cities yourself? I have run through the tutorials and the game mechanics seem similar. Thanks in advance, I'm looking forward to City building again.

Hearing the SC 200 PS1 tunes really brought back memories, thanks for putting this together. I'm not quite sure which folder to put them in. I put them in Mayor for now, but they don't show up in the list in the settings. Should they be there? -
You'll need to get the latest patch if you've got a DVD (I assume you've got a DVD), you can download that one from the STEX. The NAM is an absolute must have, CAM is also nice but not necessary. Furthermore, you've got a lot of downloads for buildings, infrastructure etc. A lot of custom content is something I personally prefer. I have a Digital Copy from Amazon and from what I can gather, it is already patched. I'm downloading NAM right now.

I see there are quite a few Mods available, what are the "must haves? Also, do I need to patch this version at all? Thanks.
