True, but what makes this so upseting is that we all though Spitzer was different. We all thought he was the guy who'd help clear up the corruption. Oddly enough, we had no expectations of Andrew Cuomo, who replaced Spitzer as AG. But he's turning out to be the guy who's actually doing things, not Spitzer. And to mks24, please tell me you're being satirical. Hevesi was a crook, and he got caught. Did you hear anything about "Chauffeurgate"? That's why he resigned: improper use of state resources. And while being in charge of the state's money, too! And while you may have liked the driver's licence plan, most of the state didn't. And Spitzer pushed way too hard on it, just to end up backing down. Regardless of if he was right or not, (not, in my opinion), he didn't handle it as he should have. The plan ended up a miserable failure on his record, not at all a success. A year ago, I would have been willing to let this slide. But I think Spitzer's shown quite well that his skills are as a lawyer, not a governor. Anyway, I'd imagine he'll be resigning. If i were him, I'd be looking to do that right now, before the story can be stretched out. The last thing anyone in this state wants is another month or more of Hookergate . And his family probably wants to get away from it, too.

I supported him during the election. Even though I couldn't vote. But soon after he got into office I changed my mind. He could've done great things in the state, but instead he wasted his political capital on some worthless thing, I think it was appointing a comptroller, instead of something important, like, say, I don't know, balancing the darn budget for once? Then Troppergate, NYRA, and the driver's license thing happened. Admittedly, NYS Senate Republican Majority Leader Joe Bruno and his cronies made sure these scandals were as inflated as possible, but it was still pretty bad. Back during the election, my sister put a "Spitzer 2006" bumper sticker on our car. I took it off when I got home today. This was the last straw. What I need is a sticker that has "Spitzer '06" and then "Spitzer '07-'08" with a red line through it.

I think I remember checking out the Wikipedia article after seeing the episode, and seeing that they matched up pretty well. Anyway, I don't judge people on their religion. All religions, as well as lack of religion, look ridiculous to a non-member. So I don't think I should be a judge. I will, however, laugh at beliefs that are just ridiculous. And that science fiction novels written in the '30s through '50s hold the truths of the universe is quite ridiculous.

Here's my ten cents. Everyone should be able to be healthy. Why? Healthy people work, working people buy things from people, who use the money to buy things from people, who use the money to buy things from people, and so on, until someone buys from wherever you or I might work. Which gives us money to buy things we want. And the more working people there are, the more people buying things there are. And the more people buying things there are, the more people buying things from you or I there are. And the more people buying things from you and I there are, the more money we get to buy what we want. And that's a good thing. So if more healthy people = more working people = more money to get what I want = a good thing -> more healthy people = a good thing. But our healthcare system doesn't keep people healthy. In fact, it's designed not to make people healthy. I hate to cite Michael Moore, since he tends to have a left bias, but in the movie Sicko, he shows video of testimony to Congress, in which a former doctor for an HMO admits that healthcare companies try to find ways out of paying for medical care. He also plays tape of Richard Nixon talking with John Ehrlichman. Ehrlichman says "...the less care they give them, the more money they make." The system is designed not to give people care. It isn't to the companies' advantage to give people care. My mother's sister and her family lived in England for a while. They were disappointed by the healthcare system, because they had to wait more than at the military bases in the states. And waiting isn't limited to the socialized medicine countries. My sister got a large cut on her ankle a while ago, and she went to one of Albany's hospitals, at about 4 in the afternoon. She waited for a few hours before she even saw a doctor. My brother needed to go to the ER for a minor incident in the middle of the night at college. He got to the ER, and saw a man with a completely blood-soaked towel around his arm, who had been waiting for quite a few hours. The only reason I can think of is if you are regularly driving somewhere new, and can't be looking at a map constantly. For example, truck drivers, hired drivers, etc. Other than that, just use Google Maps or whatever.

page flip? Yup. I don't know if delegate elections would really help. Whoever won would still only have 6 or 7 endorsements. And elections can be hard to organize, especially if nations start going inactive, which happens every once in a while. Another idea would be to re-found the region with an independent nation, similar to what they have in the International Democratic Union. I can post over at their off-site forum, and ask how they handle theirs, if we want to know. This would allow us to have a founding nation and not have to worry about it dying. If we had this, we wouldn't need to worry about a password. If we chose to refound, we may want to sketch up a quick constitution or mission statement, as a formal way of deciding on issues like, do we let the friends of ST members into the region? (example, newcomer SITRP never claimed to be a member of ST, just a friend of Greater Garland/The Big Z) Do we allow members of SC4Devotion in if they aren't ST members? I think I remember from when we discussed this a while ago, the answer to those question was no. So I think it might help to have that in writing. Anyway, that's my ten cents. Yeah, it takes some getting used to, and there are a few kinks still to be worked out. But it's working pretty well for me.

My main SC4 computer runs XP, and my laptop runs vista. I have an external 120GB hard drive with my SC4, and Sims 2 games and MyDocs folders backed up on it. I can get the game to run on the Vista laptop from the external HD with the CD in my drive, but it won't recognize my regions or plugins. I tried changing the Documents setting to go to my hard drive, but that didn't work. Is it possible to make it recognize it?

^I'd say the third might help with your taxes, but the first would move your economy toward more capitalism. That's just a guess, though. And here's the new map, hot off the press! Only 9 spots left!

I generally leave the room, get lunch or a snack, and come back in in time to wait a few more seconds for it to load. And then I have to wait again to load a city. Whenever I mention all the RAM I've put into this computer, my parents remember how everyone thought they were crazy when they got a computer with 5 MB of RAM, because that was so much.

WARNING: Long, involved post ahead! So I got to thinking about establishing where Simtropolis lies as far as north and south go. We've basically figured out that we're in the north Atlantic, but not really where. I'm thinking that we could make the south edge of our map be at about 30 degrees, and our northern edge 66 degrees. Pros: This is better than being further south, because this placement allows for more climate options. Plus, nobody has to be in the Arctic Circle (though some are close) Also, there would be few places in "horse latitudes," so colonial navigation in the gulf would have been possible. They would correspond to about 17.5 and south. The major places in this area are Audland's Hamilton River Delta, and the southern rivers of Schnabo). Cons: The northern countries would be really cold. What does this mean for climates? In latitudes north of 35 degrees, the prevailing winds move toward the northeast. I would imagine this would make the southern rim of the gulf relatively cool and dry, due to rain shadow from the mountains. However, if nations like Met. Hou. and Foxenburg want warmer climates, warmer gulf waters could contribute to higher coastal temperatures. Southern Schnabo would have a climate similar to the Mid-Atlantic US, since it's a similar situation geographically. Northern Schnabo and non-gulfside Foxenburg would be about like New Jersey to Boston, but with a little less rain. TDN, Uytland and that area would be quite a bit like Europe, but maybe a little bit warmer. Goobergunchia and the north coast would be cold, probably similar southern Sweden, maybe northern Scotland. Vartorgan, your area would be about like north-central Canada Macania and the western rim would be cool and dry. Costal areas could be warmer due to the gulf. I'll guess Poland and that area, maybe? As for the unclaimed western places. That top yellow one would be quite a bit like Alaska. I would imagine that the rest, depending on mountain formations, would imitate the American west coast. Of course, all of this is guessing. I'm not an expert, and the factors aren't all figured out yet. So this could all be fudged quite a bit to make your area's climate more to your suiting. I know that was a long, involved post, but what does everyone think of this?

Thank you, BigK13, for getting us back on topic. To answer your question: Drag a stretch of RHW (Make sure it's converted to the RHW mod, not the one that looks like a road). Now delete a section 3 tiles long where you want your exit to start. Drag one way road in the same direction as your RHW. Then, from that, drag a diagonal section of one way road. I'll see if I can get a picture, but it might be a bit. Hopefully sometime soon, this will be simplified by the introduction of the Modular Interchange System, or MIS, which will let you draw better looking interchanges, a lot more easily.

Or, barring that, you could try something like Latham Circle: EDIT: This isn't working... I'm not sure what you mean. Are you asking why the runways have markings going in both directions? That's an easy answer: That's how it is in real life. Use Google Maps/Earth and look at your local airport. the runway will, in most cases, have designators and markings for both directions.
