I couldn't find the second file you mentioned, so I went through the steps I did before (modified with your advise) and created a new submenu. Still no second file created. I used the cli tool to add lots to the new subfolder and it threw an error on the last step. My screenshot didn't save and I don't remember what it said. I hit enter again, and then it said it saved a file - NTUser.dat in my c:/users/[username]/ folder. I couldn't open that one with the Reader - it kept saying it was being used by another application. I don't have anything open at this point and it still says that. I have no idea why the file was saved there and what has it opened. I barely know what I'm doing so at this point I'm prepared to leave things as is and not worry about. The submenu I created works as it should, it just doesn't show the name in the value column in the property in the Reader - everything else works. I'm happy to receive more guidance, but I don't want to take up your time. Thanks for the help already!

Ok, so I finally manages to figure out how to create my own submenu. I used the sc4 cli tool and was able to get it to function and have a lot show up in the submenu in game (yes!). The thing I can figure out how to do is to make the name of the submenu show up in the value column in Ilives reader. It only shows the Item Button ID as the value. (I have used the reader to go through the properties of my newly created submenu dat and the name/descriptions are entered in the appropriate properties (i think). I did notice that the submenu I created does not have a Cohort entry. I copied one over from an existing submenu and could not edit the fields to show what I wanted. Any help would be great!

As someone who doesn't know how to do anything, is there a way to remove the jobs from this landmark ploppable? https://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/29431-poznanskis-textile-factory/

Ok - ran into some dumb user error on my part -- the NAM files weren't exactly unzipped. I thought they were, but they weren't. Once I got that taken care of, the installer actually opened and I'm working my way through that now. Thank you so much for the help!

Im not sure I follow. If you're talking about doing "Open with" - I can't find a java app file that does anything, and I dont know which file from NAM to force. Can you fill in these blanks for me? I appreciate the help!

Yes. I used the one included in the NAM48 download. Also used the one in the link you posted - attached pic is of that folder - not sure if that's helpful to see. The other pic is of the NAM download folder. I've run the .bat, which did the 4gb patch, and that's where I am at now. I can get into the file structure of the .jar file in 7zip, but not outside it.

Hi all - long time member, never posted before. I just downloaded NAM48 and I can't install it....I can't even seem to find the installer file. I was able to open the .jar file (with 7zip), but theres nothing in there that looks like an install program. Obviously, I'm doing something wrong, so can someone help me troubleshoot? (The last time I installed NAM was in 2011...so things have changed a bit since then.)
